I am never one to discount self improvement... Just remember that some of us do not like flat and uninteresting... Being you is the sexiest think you can do.

Part of it is wanting to look better .... but the other side of the coin is wanting to be healthy. My grandma ended up being diagnosed with diabetes in her 50's. She also had high blood pressure and heart conditions.. all caused from her being over weight. I'd really rather not take that same path and have all those health issues. One of the best ways to combat that is keeping the body fit, and of course eating healthy. The eating healthy part is going to be the hardest part.. most health foods are just blech to me.

Anywho.... that's that! lol

Most health foods just taste sooooo horrible to me. I don't even eat that much during the day (I have one small bowl of Special K cereal when I get up, water throughout the day, and then whatever we have for dinner .. it's the dinner part and when we eat out a lot that screws me over )

Still no letter in the mail saying I don't have to show up. Blech. I just hope they don't mind if I show up with a book. Because if it's anything like what hubby had to do when he was younger... he said he was there from 9am until well after lunch time

I don't know any cops or anything like that in the town. I know of ONE.. he use to live next door. But I never even talked to him, and that was before he became a town cop.

And no.. I really won't. And at this point, it's not even actually serving. It's showing up at 9am for selection process. And from what hubby said when he had to go up there one time, he was there until way after lunch to be told if he was needed or dismissed. So it's going to be a few hours of just sitting there, waiting. NOT my idea of fun

He also said that his mom said she had to go one time, and when she left the room, she made the comment about, "that guy looked creepy" and she got dismissed just from that one comment. So, me being so brutally open and honest, I'll probably get dismissed too

I got all excited yesterday when I got another letter in the mail from the courthouse. Was hoping it was maybe a note saying it had been canceled or I wasn't needed. But, nope.. was just a notification that the date has been changed to Sept 4th

One day is alright I guess. The weeklong deals suck for every day at 9 AM to have them tell you to go home sometime in the day sucks. Of course if you are not an AM person anytime in the morning might just suck to be there. Dress really nice and talk to yourself under your breath, maybe make a few crazy outbursts. That should work to keep you off the jury. LOL The trick is doing that and NOT getting yourself put in jail for pissing the judge off.

That it does....we should do something about that.

You probably won't get a letter informing you that you won't be doing jury duty. They'd have probably called you by now, if you gave them a valid reasno excusing yourself from it. May be different out where you are, but both times I did it, a book can be brought....hell a guy had a laptop, but only in the waiting area. If you get called to a courtroom for a possible chance of being selected, you can't read in there, can't even talk really, plus obviously, no food or drinks. Oh yeah, you can easily spend the day there, both times I got out around 5 pm. You may get "reimbursed" for the drive...so there is that.

Oh yeah, if you make it to the courtroom, when the judge is talking to the lawyers and potential jurors, white noise is played so that all the other potential jurors can't hear any of their "colleagues" responses or any slight information that may be given out about the case.

Hey, Pandaren are awesome, it's all cool. That said, I'm loving it, although it feels the difficulty's increased. Is all good though.
