I actually have never gotten a flu shot, ever. Any time I know someone who has, the shots end up making them more sick than the flu would. And besides that, each shot is only for one particular strain of flu... flu's constantly evolve and change.. hence why they tell you to get a shot each year. Just not worth it. I also never go to the doctor, unless I'm really really sick. In the 7 years that we've lived in this town, I've gone to the ER once (because I was so sick and miserable late at night.. was my only option) and once to the doctor (which was a waste of fucking time, because he just told me to keep taking over the counter stuff, fluids, rest, etc and didn't prescribe any antibiotics for me).

There's millions of things that can make us sick, I just refuse to live my life in fear or worrying about it. Soda is bad for us, the high fructose corn syrup.. I don't give a shit. I'm still going to drink my one Pepsi a day (and only one of the smaller cans at that), because I love the way it tastes. Oreos have bad shit in them.. I don't care.. I'm still going to have some with some milk. I haven't gotten sick from those things yet ... I eat meat, I'll never stop.... etc etc etc :p

She got it all done. Got the sword and shield done. She still needs to figure out something to put across her chest to hook the shield to, and she wants some better gloves and boot tops.. but other than that, she got it done :)
She hasn't had much time to do any other cosplay making since school started. I just hope she doesn't lose complete interest in it, since she got that sewing machine :rolleyes: lol

I can't watch BBT. I'd like to.. but Sheldon and that blonde chick with the high voice just annoy me way too much. The only time I absolutely will watch is when Wil Wheaton is on. I follow him on FB/Twitter.. and I just adore him. He's so freaking funny and entertaining to follow :)

use one of your husbands belts as a strap and she better not cosplay leads to some awesome things:D

I neglect this place way too much! Just been kinda blah about taking pix... and don't really have much to say. Same ol same ol... gaming, gaming, and more gaming.

Hmm.. other news.. the daughter is officially an adult now. Finished her senior year early at winter break, and she finally starts her first job on Tues! YAY!

Really not much else going on. Been playing Diablo III with a friend (he bought me the expansion.. so very sweet and kind of him). Waiting for my copy of Saints Row IV to show up in the mail so I can finish it off, then I might move on to Batman Origins. Really really want a PS4 so I can play Infamous Second Son. Hoping the Walking Dead comics we have listed will sell, so then I'll be able to get said PS4 and game! lol
