Ahhh - another bitch from me...

My mail server (Mail8.com) recently underwent upgrades, etc. I had about 130 emails in my folder - and they were all from my sweetheart. Kept them for sentimental reasons - always said I was going to print out each and every one of them to keep. The day I went to actually print them out the upgrade was underway. I checked back today to see if they were done...and voila - they lost 100 of the damn things. Normally I would not care, since normally I wouldn't have emails...but those were special, and held a great deal of personal value for me.

I'm so angry and feel extremely helpless to do anything about it. Wish I could kick something - or better yet, kill something.

There. I have vented.

Somehow, I don't feel much better.

Glad you feel better, just a thought, have you checked with your sweetie if he/she evers forgets to delete or empty the trash folder on the senders e-mail.

I've lost emails too, due to computer crashes and stupidity. You think I would learn to back things up.

Me too.
Emails are underrated. You never really think about how precious they are since they just seem to be there on the screen...but a love letter is a love letter no matter what form...I feel like a part of me is missing. Just goes to show you never know what you've got until its gone.

But hey - still got him...that's all that matters...

That's a real bummer, Bad Girl. I sympathise, completely.

I can't imagine how mad I'd be, if something like that happened. I have got into the habit of copying them into a Word doc. every few days or so, though. I think it's 200 pages long now. :D

But, yeah, as Lisa suggested, would he have saved them in his sent items folder? But, I guess you've already asked him that.

*hugs*

Lou :rose:
