The clouds were black, lightening flashed, and the thunder roared. The sky swirled above in a dark mixture of pure horror. At least that's certainly how Sarah saw it.
It was only her second week on the job, and she was just acclimating herself to the norms of office life in a skyscraper full of more testosterone than she was comfortable with -- at least that's what she lead her coworkers to believe. Appearances were everything. She may just have quit the job, had she not liked all the attention.
A virgin of 26 years, there was just something that Sarah absolutely loved about all of the eyes on her. The thought would occasionally cross her mind that at any given moment, there could be any of ten men undressing her with his eyes. She was a coy girl, and had never had so much as a boyfriend, much less, a lover.
Sarah slid her slender, tanned legs off of her seat of the Yellow Taxi that had pulled up in front of her building, and, hesitatingly, in to the torrential downpour. Her tight red dress immediately began collecting water spots the size of fifty cent pieces, and her square framed, black glasses were immediately dotted and splashed with a thousand droplets of rain, so much so that she could hardly see the sidewalk in front of her.
She felt as if God had personally opened the flood gates above the area immediately in front of the office building where she was now late for work, if to punish her for some reason. Perhaps, she thought, punishment for the fact that she had occasionally gone home and caressed herself to fantasies that she had conjured up all day while working in an office surrounded by men. She had never gone past gently touching herself, but at times she would work herself into a heart-racing sweat and would calm herself down before ... what? She didn't know ...
Fifteen paces more in her now-drenched red dress, and she would be golden. All except for the fact that she now looked like a woman straight from the scene of a horror film -- at least that's what she told herself.

Jake had noticed the sexy, long legged brunette wearing a new, form hugging red dress that he had never seen on her before from the moment that her cab door had opened. He had been enjoying a few moments outside of the office building alone under the awning before he was to be officially at work.
He had loathed his job as an accountant for the big, hard-hitting law firm Sikes & Lambrecht, ever since he had started the gig a couple of years ago. But "hell," he thought "it's paying the bills, and what do I have to complain about anyway? At least I have a job." And so it was.
Two years and counting, and things hadn't been any more exciting from the first day he started ... until just about two weeks ago, when the new office secretary had started working. There had been cute, even gorgeous secretaries at Sikes & Lembrecht in the past, but this girl was stunning. A perfect dime. He just hadn't found the right time to get to know her, let alone talk to her, and he probably would never have the chance had it not been for this beautiful, perfectly-timed rain storm. He loved the rain.
He immediately began a half-sprint when he saw her struggling through the rain, one hand cupping her hair, the other hand clutching a black leather bag of some sort, a pitiful, defeated look on her face. Offering her space under his umbrella he flashed his 20 dollar smile. They awkwardly smiled and exchanged quick glances as Jake continued to usher her the remaining few meters into the building.
