electromagnetic solar powered transporation figurings, smart people needed

Alright we all know the earth is light a huge magnet with a north and south pole

Also that produces an invisible magnetic polarity from one end of the planet to the other.

I was figuring in a dream the other night that a suit could be designed from thin wound copper and powered by an out coating of thin bound solar inductive threads. Combined with a geosyncronous satelite system, GPS device, and a high speed processor and two joysticks.

How it would work the suit would be powered by the solar panling, excess energy could be stored in a light wieght back pack for cloudy days, etc.

The pwoer would create a magnetic field of varing power through the copper threaded electro magnet suit.

Now the fun part, The GPS and the geosyncronous satelite and the high spped processor would combine to find your exact magnetic planetary position. and then send aa signal to another porcessor which controls the elctromagnetic suit caussing it to produce a magnetic field oposite to you position thus lifting you from the ground. the distance would be controlled by how much power you allowed to the suit with one joystick a simple up for more high/power to the suit and down to lower/reduce the power to the suit.

The next part the reason for the high spped processor and the second joystick would be to uplink with the GPS and geo satelite in the postion you push the joystick in the postion you wish to go, the satelite feeds that info into the processor and changes the magnetic field your suit produces thus pulling you in that direction. the further you push the joystick in any direction the faster you cruise through the air across the surface of the globe.

Yep, scientists have discovered that every 10,000 years or so, the polarity of the Earth switches. They think that it may tie in with Ice Ages as well. But hey, we probably have 8,000 years to go, so what the hell, go for it.

But ideas like the original one you posted are what spark others to come up with their own ideas, and their ideas spark better ones in yourself. Very interesting.

yup a direct to postion magnetic force field.

just like when you put two magnets to gether you put them together north to self the pull together you put them north to nrth and they repel
