The partner and I spent the day at an event with several classes. We actually went to support a friend who was sitting on a panel, but decided to sit through the electroplay class. I admit it was not something I had an interest in, but I am willing to try most things at least once.

The presenter had a violet wand and an e-stim, giving a demonstration of both with the person bottoming for him explaining the different sensations. After, he asked if anyone wanted to see what they felt like and not being shy I volunteered. I REALLY enjoyed them both, but the e-stim sensation is what I remember the most. I wouldn't call it painful really, but I also find myself getting into a trance-like state when I get tattoos so I may just be a weirdo.

Anyway, I'm sold.

I have had minimal experience with E Stim but I really liked it. It’s a sharp, localized pain and hard to replicate another way. I really want to try more and the local shop has a class on it...just haven’t had time to fit their schedule into mine when my spouse is also available.

Like has been said, it’s another down of sensory play. I don’t find nipple clamps, which was the example, to be my thing but I like the sensation of the stim. It’s a short burst like the pain of getting a tattoo.

Interesting thread. A few years ago I bought a antique telephone hand-crank generator and, to say the least, it is exciting. This thread has all sorts of interesting information. I've been mildly curious about e-stim, but I thought it was an umbrella term for all electrical play, so I've apparently been making a fool of myself talking about it, but no one has corrected me.

I was just gonna get a Tazapper and experiment, and I probably would have gone for my nipples as one of the first things I tried it on. But that wouldn't be safe? If it's relevant, my boobs are *really* big--seriously, I'm an O Cup--so they can be lifted away from my rib cage. Would that make a difference if I aimed the Tazapper carefully enough?

I kind of figured the shock would be a little stronger than your typical static build-up shock. Is that a poor analogy, though?

A device like a TENS unit interests me, too, but I just figured that would be more of an advanced - expert level thing, and that I should start with a Tazapper or electric fly swatter. Do I have that the wrong way around?

There are other threads here that you can search for about electro play and the library also has links to them. You can find the library at the top of this forum.

You can start with a fly swatter type of toy, but it's not likely to get both nipples at the same time. And even though it's not a high shock, you really shouldn't try to get both nipples at the same time, with any kind of shock.

it doesn't matter how large your breasts are, the current can still travel through your heart. The problem is, you can't see electricity, so there is no way of knowing for sure if your heart would be included in the path or not. So, the best thing to do is to is error on the side or caution in any situation when electo play is involved.

There is one device that you can use on both nipples at the same time, but they aren't cheap. A double pole TENS unit is really the only thing I'd advise you use on both nipples at the same time, or actually ANYTHING above the waist. And you also would need a bit of knowledge to use one, as I'm guessing they don't come with a lot of detailed instructions. Nothing comes with much instruction, these days.

I won't go into detail here about how this TENS unit works, because there are more than a few threads that explain this already in this forum. You can find them through the library.

But, you will spend several hundreds on a double pole TENS and you also have to look at more than one maker, because of how they connect to attachments. I think they all will have something like alligator clips for your nipples, but once you get into this TENS unit thing, I can only assume you'll want to get deeper involved.

The problem is, they don't all use the same connections. There are no "universal" connection methods for TENS units. This is mostly so you'll be required to get attachments from them, instead of somebody else. But, there are also adapters made by others so you can connect attachments to various TENS units. Again, you need to look into these adapters through Google or you can find some help through the library, too.

Connectiors like banana plugs, snap clips, plugs that look like earbud plugs, different diameters of these and then you have to worry about how your TENS will work. I'm familiar with the U.S. versions, but electricity also isn't universal through out the world. Battery operated units are probably the easiest to use, but there are some that work by plugging into the wall outlets and then converting to DC current.
