Enacting it? Hmmm. I might just own enough green clothing to be able to get into character ...

I too had a thing for Batman and Robin as we all know; I also fantasized about Bo and Luke Duke.

Bogey and Bacall are definitely the hottest on this list, but I would like to add Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif in Lawrence of Arabia. Not really a couple... but the electricity just sizzles. MMMmmm. :)

Peter O'Toole ...

*eyes glaze over*

Sorry. Was I saying something?

Well, what can I say? Give me anything where some girl's tied to a chair.

Okay, but you'll have to tie me up to make me watch it.

:D

Regarding TV Superman: Why did Clark Kent have to be such a dweeb? Was he afraid of sex? Was there a danger that Lois would be imbedded in the earth's crust?

What about Mr. Ed and Wilbur? Rumor has it, Ed was hung like a horse...

I hate to say it, because I'm not a Shelley Long fan at all, but her and Ted Danson on Cheers...

My SO and I were at the zoo pondering the rhinos. I mentioned to some nearby kids that the larger one must be a boy. My BF studied the big rhino and remarked, "Either he has a boy or he has three back legs."

I had no idea that any animal had a prehensile, uh, third back leg, I mean it looked like an elephant's trunk, dragging the ground.

So instead of hung like a horse, it should be hung like a rhino.

I'll take your word for it.

Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy in "Before Sunrise". I love the film and find it hard to believe that I have not seen "Before Sunset" yet. I did not want to go to the movies to see it alone, and we have a rule about buying things for ourselves that could be christmas gifts, so I have not bought the DVD yet.

I agree with Imp about the Crash-Annie chemistry in Bull Durham too. I hesitated to mention it on fear it is because I identify with the setting, but I love the tension between them.

Colin Firth and Renee Zellweger (though I think he and I would make a rather delicious combo also.)

Rupert Everett and Catherine Deneuve in the original "Dangerous Liaisons." Too bad he's gay.

On the other hand, one can then spend hours pondering the posibilities and ramifications of a Daunceny/Valmonte liasion. Mmmm.

I don't think Rupert is gay, folks. Could be wrong though.

I didn't make that up. He is out of the closet about it.

He couldn't be any gayer if his name was Gay Gayerson. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Just limits my options, is all.

I must've missed that. Makes my options all the more exciting though! :D

(yeah... right...):(

I had to go for other, cause I was tied between to couples not listed.. (pun intended).

Sean Connery and Julia Ormond on First Knight. (Eat your heart our Richard Gere!) I do like Gere, too, but I liked the chemistry with them. I read somewhere once though, that Connery is a foul mouthed jerk. I do not know if that is true, but I am willing to do some research if you want...

I am not thinking of the actors now, but of the character. Spike and Buffy, and that whole bdsm/masochist undercurrent they had going on really worked for me! I was a bit surprised that they showed those two eppies in prime time.. (The one where the beat on each other - you listening snowy? that is beat ON not off- and end up doing the nasty and the one following where they are all nekkid everywhere.)

Yes, that whole D/s-bdsm thing does tend to catch my attention for some reason!

note: I know that D/s falls under the same acronym thingy as bdsm for most folks, but there are a few board regulars over there who appear to insist that they do not, which is why I put it that way.

Spike & Buffy . . . yes
Willow & Tara . . . yes (cutest couple . . . ever!)
Anything from "First Knight" . . . ewh!
