I'm looking to do a rp set in the Elder Scrolls universe. I'm not sure when I'm the timeline it would be but I'm leaning to during the events of Skyrim. I'm not looking to follow the events of the game but instead make up our own quests. If anyone is interested or has questions. Feel free to pm me or post here.

I'm interested in taking part! My elder scrolls knowledge is limited to Skyrim, however :s

Wonderful. When are you looking at getting started and how many people are you planning for this adventure?

Well I'd like to get a group of 6 or maybe more. And we could start as soon as a couple people post char descriptions.

I'll go ahead and think up a description of my character. Basics will probably
Be Orc living among a village of Nords.

I tried to start one of these a while ago, but it sorta fell through. :(

Send me a pm if you get close to having enough people. IRG (In Real Game ;)) I play a Breton sorceress (mostly illusion and alteration), but I'll rp anything you need.

Interested

I played the game too and would be interested to get an arrow to the knee do we post our character profiles to you or on this post

Character

Name: Careth

Race: Altmer(High-Elf)

Class: Mage(specialising in Restoration and conjuration, minoring in destruction)

Appearance: Tall, pale skin, green eyes, pointed ears and short blond hair. Wears robes and other light armor. He uses primarily uses spells in most situations but has a magical staff as a backup.

Background: Careth was born like most elves in the Summerset Isle and like most elves studied magic in this youth. Careth found he excelled in the healing and conjuration arts and thus perfected his skills on wounded soldiers or helped them practice combat on his magical creations.

When the Thallmar rose to power and started suppressing the worship of Talos, Careth was almost initiated into their ranks. Careth had a strong distaste for those who imposed their will upon others and when the time was right he fled his home and became a Mage at the College of Winterhold.

The Archmage welcomed him and other fellow refugees impressed with their natural abilities in magic and so once again Careth was able to study in peace. However the Stormcloaks and other Nord held strong prejudice against him, it didn’t help of course that they also blamed the mages for the destruction of the beloved village and general added fuel to the already blazing fire.

After several years Careth had reached a point in his studies where he needed to expand his horizons beyond the walls of the College and so he traveled to distant lands and faraway places seeking adventure, knowledge and maybe other forms of enjoyment along the way.

@dungeonsofdread That sounds great!

Before I write mine though, I have questions... A lot of them. From your bio I'm guessing we are operating in roughly the same time as the events of Skyrim? Is the story going to center around that province? How involved will our little band of misfits be in the ongoing politics of empire and thalmore? Are we working for one side, supporting one side, or pursuing completely separate goals? Can we all agree that Stormcloaks are uppity idiots and the false-king Ulfric was beheaded by dovakiin? I guess for some of these I assumed we're operating under a d/d style party system. Are we?

IMPORTANT: I haved played dawngaurd yet. Please don't spoil it for me!

Well I haven't decided if we should stay in Skyrim or leave it. Perhaps we could start there and the leave for some other part of tamriell on a quest. As for the political events i think it would be best to have Skyrim already done with the war and under one factions rule. As for what faction that is I leave open for discussion since I am not sure of which side I stand on. As for the thalmor, they rub me entirely the wrong way and would prefer to be against them. Perhaps fighting them could be the bases of the rp.

I'm not entirely sir what you mean by d/d style party. And we will leave dawnguard out cause I have also yet to play it.

And love the char DoD.

Personally I'd prefer not to travel out of skyrim because it's all I know. I thought itd be interesting to be a diverse group of cobbled together people. DnD style my guess is adventuring party that includes exploration and combat. Each player may have his own backstory that could conflict or intertwine with other players. I was praying for the conflict of storm cloaks to be arOund since it adds more options and lets there even be conflict between characters. Leaving more to be undecided lets you decide more through your character than through your real self. Makes for more diversity.

d/d = dungeons and dragons

What I mean by that is we all travel in a group and do stuff together as opposed to individual stories with random encounters.

I have played Oblivion and that is about it, if you need a warrior mage let me know
