#1 is my favorite out of this set......I love how the pearl necklace is intertwined, linking

We thought of entering that one in the MM contest, but I decided it was a little too risque, even with no physical contact. I'm glad I went with the one that won; it's by far the most popular of all the photos on my portfolio on that site.

Just in case anyone has checked, the gallery of Lit photos on my SmugMug site hasn't been updated in a while, but I just fixed that. It now has all the most recent photos available. Thanks to those who have shown support for my work!

I always find interesting the photos that other people label their favorites. The ones everyone else likes are never the ones I like the best, and the ones that I would say are my favorite are usually at the bottom of everyone else's list. LOL

That's why photography can be so subjective at times, one favorite might be someone's 'bottom

Oh yeah. I found that out the hard way. I once posted a self portrait with a slightly erect penis and was summarily banned for a few weeks.

But, in the seemingly infinite wisdom of internet site moderators, there are many other portfolios with huge erections. It appears they are fine with it as long as the cock is inside wet briefs or under a long wet t-shirt.

All of the photos that were taken in my studio were of professional or amateur models. There are a mix of model shots and candid street shots in there as well, but I generally try to only put on SM the shots that I have release forms signed by the model. (The public street shots don't need a release, but they also can't be used commercially for that reason.)

It's great to work with a subject who really wants to be photographed and who is willing to add to the creative process instead of just sitting there. Family members are practically useless (unless you have someone like Vanessa in your family!), but a real model is willing to show up on time and do whatever it takes to get a great photo.

The girl in the cage was inspired by the work of another photographer, but we went in a slightly different direction with the addition of the "master" holding a leash. I'm glad you like those.

I'm teaching myself a slightly different workflow that results in a little more color saturation and darker shadows. I'm going to re-process a lot of my best images and rearrange my SmugMug galleries, so keep an eye out for sweeping changes.

I do like #16. I know this may sound strange but it kind of reminds me of a night time city street just after its rained and there is this hushed calm. I know I'm weird.
That being said I love your photos, now I just need to go through them a time or two to find my favorites.

So far this one of the peacock displaying in the back yard you did with the iPhone Is my favorite. It kind of reminds me of some of the old style black and whites that had color hand painted on them (I don't remember the technique it is called).

I've found that I really enjoy shooting with the iPhone. It's a challenge to use such a rudimentary tool for photography. I mean, compared to my other cameras.
