he's cuter close up than he was in vid.

storm can be sound asleep but as soon as any one moves he thinks there's food on the go and bolts.

The whole place is especially beautiful now. They are once again hosting a Chihuly art glass exhibit throughout the garden and it's pretty nice. The pieces are placed into the flora all over and they have many items lit up for weekly night time shows. I recommend it for anyone living in or visiting the Miami area.

Not so much this time, but they had a Chihuly exhibit last year and a lot of the same pieces were on display. I'll see if I can dig up some of those shots and post them later.

It's in the mid-fifties here today. Brrrr.

Super Bowl weekend

Miami hosted the Super Bowl this weekend and the entire peninsula south of Fort Pierce came to a standstill as the crowds descended upon our not-so-fair city. I took a few trips out to Miami Beach to get pictures of the tourists and these are some of my favorites. (I've posted a few of these on the Pet Peeves thread already, so they are not all new.)

New stuff!

On this Easter Sunday, I thought to myself: "What Would Jesus Do?"™ He'd get naked and take pictures, of course!

These are all in front of the master bathroom sink. I was using only the light over the sink so I boosted the camera's sensitivity as high as I could without ruining the pictures. The result is a coarse, grainy texture, although you probably can't see that at this resolution. The high camera ISO also wreaks havoc with the colors, so black and white is a foregone conclusion. For me, at least.
