Ekserb's picture thread

Are you serious?

You don't have to be patient or nice to host a thread. Ekserb here has one, and you know how he is.

Seriously, though, I disagree that being "nice" is necessary to keep a thread alive. If a thread has pictures of hot scantily-clad or naked women, it will keep going like the Energizer bunny. That's all that's necessary. Human nature does the rest.

This is true, but Ekserb has a loyal fanbase and he's pretty nice to them. I'm not sure I'd be able to cultivate that...he knows how I am. I'd probably tell somebody to piss off before I even got around to posting a second picture. :D

You might be right. Witness the thread by breathe. She hasn't posted there in almost a week and it is alive and well. :)

You'd subscribe, but would you participate (if you didn't already have a thread of your own)?

The Online Etymology Dictionary describes the word amateur as meaning "one who has a taste for (something)," or "lover of." Amateur photographer would thus mean "a lover of photography," and doesn't necessarily mean that the photographer works for money. In my opinion, a professional shooter works primarily to earn an income. While I will be trying to make some money selling prints as I travel, the shots I might create for this thread idea would be strictly amateur and only if the model and I agreed on the use of the photos in this manner.

I probably would, sure. And I certainly wouldn't object to a thread of this nature, but I can see how some of your, er, Lit non-friends might be a little nit-picky about the definition of the word "amateur." Probably just cause it's you, though.

If I were you, I would save the above paragraph in case you need to whip it out again after you create the thread.

Keep us posted for sure.....and definitely keep on posting more pix! ;)

I'd like to, but I just can't seem to think of any new scenarios. I've used just about every room in the house already. :)

LOL ... yep.

I had a bit of adventure the other day. With her permission, I'm posting a couple of pictures of a blowjob I got from a friend. She was dying to post these herself, but didn't have a bunch of others to share and didn't want the responsibility of starting a new picture thread with only two images.

One
Two

Enjoy!

Wonderful Pics, Eskerb...you definitely have talent. :)

Your images are stunning. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of equipment are you using?

Thank you, but if you're referring to the two newest pictures, I really can't take all the credit. I was only following orders. LOL

I don't mind at all. I'm a hardware geek so I enjoy talking about my gear.

I'm currently using a Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D digital SLR with an assortment of lenses ranging from 17mm to 200mm, although many of the shots on this thread were taken with one of my mid-telephoto lenses. I try to avoid using a flash in most cases, but when I need it I use a Minolta 3600HS.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing what Sony will come out with in the new year. They acquired all of Konica Minolta's photographic technologies late in 2005 and since then have produced the Sony Alpha A100 DSLR. It has some very nice advancements over my camera, but it's not really designed to meet the needs of a pro shooter. Sony builds most of the imaging sensors for a few other camera companies, including Nikon, and the sensor in the A100 is supposed to be very similar to (if not identical to) the sensor in Nikon's D80, I think. Sony has also joined with Zeiss to produce some lenses with a Minolta/Alpha mount and I'm very keen to see how these will compare to the top-of-the-line lenses I currently own.

Anyhow, that's what I'm using. :)

Hehehee. I think I know of at least one company commander from my Army days who would disagree.

Hmm ... maybe. If the weather holds out. It's been really warm lately, so we'll see.

Natural light makes me happy.

Thank you for answering. I had heard about Sony. I'm a Mamiya/Canon girl, so Sony's new stuff wont be on my compare list for a while (cost effectivness of owning multiple systems is nil at the moment). I'll be interested to see what they come out with when/if they start to go pro-grade though.

If I hadn't already owned a few Minolta lenses when KM announced the 7D, I might have switched to Canon or possibly Nikon. I was about ready to give up on waiting for a digital SLR from KM.

I'm glad I stuck with the Minolta - I love the ergonomics.

I agree. Natural light is the best.

No new nudes today, but I wanted to share some pics from this weekend.

Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden in Coral Gables, FL has about a thousand resident wild iguanas on the property. The staff has tried over and over again throughout the years to get rid of the reptiles, but they haven't yet found a way to humanely lower the population, so they are pretty much used to the idea of them living off of some of the more fruitful trees.

The animals are usually very skittish and will run into the shrubs when they see a person approaching, but this one was particularly brave. Or stupid. I was able to get within a few feet for these shots, and at one point he walked past me on this wall as I was leaning against it. He was actually too close for me to get any pictures!

I kept having to move around to get between him and the sun, and he was very patient with me. Eventually a lot of people started to gather around with their own cameras and he decided he'd had enough. He crawled over the edge and down to the water, but didn't go for a swim as I thought he might (they're quite good swimmers). He just clung to the rock face of the wall and waited for everyone to leave the area.

You can see he has a bit of damage to his lower lip - probably from a fight with another iguana.

Looking right at me
Showing off his profile
Good shot of his eye

These sound cool, but I can't get the links to work for me.
