tan color!![]()
What SPF do you use for your sunscreen?
Ekserb said:Well, I usually use SPF 36, but on the day in question I was foolish and used none at all. Bad idea.
tigerjen said:Ouchie!![]()
Now its SPF 36 on a certain area or the whole body?
I would never be able to get a tan w/ a 36.....SPF 8 to
start for me, then I move down to SPF 6 or 4.
Ekserb said:No, once I'm tanned I can use 36 all over. The sun here in Miami is quite a bit stronger than Connecticut!![]()
ran57gr said:We do have a vicious sun over here too. I love sunbathing and tanned skin, I've found that the best, deepest and more even tan, comes when you sunbathe early in the morning, between 9 and 11. I always use strong protection and I always stay in the shade between noon and 5pm.

Ekserb said:I suppose that makes sense. The direct light from the sun would be less intense and the reflected light from other sources would make the tan nice and even. At noon the sun is so strong and the light from it so much stronger than any other source of reflected light that you tend to bake on one side only.
That's my professional photographic opinion.
Still, the midday hours are when the beach is full of other sunbathers, and thus the scenery is often nicer than the earlier part of the morning.![]()
I'm hoping to get some sun during my traveling around the country. It will be nice to be in the middle of the American southwest and just strip down and lay around for hours and hours with nothing to do but bake under the sun. Maybe find a small swimming hole somewhere and spend a day (or six!) naked.

Ekserb said:Hey everyone! I'm just adding a little anecdote about a trip I took to Savannah, GA last week.
I met one of my fans after we had been chatting and talking on the phone. Actually, she drove to Miami to meet me a few weeks ago and we arranged to meet again, this time under better circumstances (long story).
What a week! From the first kiss to the last blowjob, this was the best sex I have ever had. We did it all. She has the most amazing oral technique I've had the special pleasure of sampling, both when kissing (lot of that!) and while sucking my cock (lots and lots of that!). The sex was great, too, and we were both having fun with every different position we could think of.
Not only was the sex good, but we had fun around Savannah just as friends. Well, more than friends, obviously. She's just a great girl to be with. (Her dog is cool, too!)
How will this relationship play out with her in college and me getting ready to travel the land? Who knows. But we are both open-minded enough to look forward to whatever the future may hold.
This doesn't mean I'm going to stop posting my own pictures here! And maybe she'll let me post some of the two of us here as well. That I will leave up to her.

Too bad you're not up here in my area.......one of my fellow DTC'ers does real
estate and he's very good from what I hear. I wish you the best of luck in
selling your house.....so I take that you're RVing it around the country for sure?
Just FYI.....its going to be a busy summer and fall for me......if you happen to
be coming into CT at some point please let me know and if I am available we
can meet up.....sound good?
Have fun at the beach! It's beautiful here today but still a bit chilly to hit the
sand just yet!![]()
Ekserb said:Oh, the traveling plans have been definite for weeks. The only thing holding me up is the house. As soon as it's sold, I'm outta here.
Now, getting on the road will take a littlw while longer. I have to purchase a truck and a camper. The truck is going to be a Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab long bed with a Cummins Turbo Diesel and dual rear wheels. The slide-in camper necessitates a heavy duty truck, as these campers usually weight at least 3000 pounds or more. The payload of a smaller truck just isn't up to the task.
There are a couple places that sell campers in the central Florida area, and I'm putting off making a final decision until after I get a chance to look at the construction details of the two different makes I'm thinking of buying.
If I end up ordering a new camper, it might take a couple of months for it to be delivered, so I'll be helping my parent's with some remodeling at their place in Ocala. If I find a suitable used camper, it will be much sooner that I'm on the road and traveling around the country.
I'm also going to see some of Canada and Alaska. I have a friend who owns and operates his own helicopter business in AK and they've invited me to stop by and see some of the biggest state's scenery. That should be a fun drive.

Ekserb said:Just wanted to let you all know, my home is on the market and I have already packed away a lot of stuff, mostly to remove the "clutter" for showing the house in its best light. It looks fantastic and I hope someone buys it soon.
The first weekend had three bites, but the only serious buyer backed out - she couldn't afford the payments, even at the reduced price she was offering. This Easter weekend will probably be a non-starter, but the following week is looking up. Wish me luck!
I have a problem with realtors. Mine came in here last week and told me that we should ask $290,000 and see what happens. I agreed (that will give me enough to get my life underway during and after the upcoming road trip) and we signed the paperwork.
As soon as the first offer came in, the realtor suggested we drop the price to make a sale. Her suggested number would have put me below my budget for traveling, so I asked if she would take less commission and I'd go for the lower price. "I can't do that," was the response. I guess I'm supposed to take a five thousand dollar hit, but when I ask her to do the same thing, it's out of the question. She will sell many houses this year - I'm selling one. Which of us has the greater need for cash?
Anyway, the way I see it, she'll end up taking a smaller percentage of a lower sale price, or she can take her full cut of no sale price. 100% of nothing is still nothing.
So, if any of you are selling a home, beware of the tactics of realtors. My guess is that they will tell you a high price to get your business, then when the first offer comes in, they'll tell you to go with the lower number to make a sale. After all, they are only concerned with making a sale, not maximizing your profit. A few thousand dollars less on the sale price will only be a few hundred dollars to them, so it's probably not worth it to the realtor to work harder to get you your money.
And when they ask you if the difference between $290,000 and $275,000 is really that great, just ask them if they'd be willing to forgo a few percentage points of their commission to make the lower price for the buyer. See how far that flies.
Well, no new pictures today. Just wanted to vent a bit. I'm off from work tomorrow and going to the beach for the day. Gotta get tanned for the summer!
