EEEEE OOOUCH!!! Why didn't anyone tell me that??....

My ex- boyfriend didn't have any either. He liked to brag that he was more evolved because he didn't have them. He postulated that the presence of wisdom teeth was obviously a throwback to primitive days when our ancestors had to chew on rocks and stuff.

And in case hearing that doesn't make you feel bad enough, I do not and never have had wisdom teeth. Came from the manufacturer without them. And you can have that steak if you really want to. Just cut it into really small pieces.

Just in case you happen to see this Juicy....

Getting ones wisdom tooth pulled would hurt so bad?? Actually while he was pulling it, the pain was sharp, but not as bad as I thought. Now, approximately 7 hours later. My mouth is throbbing. The same pain that I had while I had the tooth, I still have. To top it off, I'm hungry as all get out. I want to bite into a nice juicy steak. But Nooooo, I am on a liquid and soup diet. Hmmmm?? Any suggestions for a good soup?? Thank You.

aka "Mr. Bootie" who's in extreme pain. :)

Awwww Don't worrie "Mr. Bootie"...it will get better. I've had the wisdom teeth, 4 years of braces and 2 jaw surgeries...the second of which I was elasticed/jaw wired shut for 4 weeks and only progressively could I open it. (Damn good diet! hehe) Let me think back to some of my favourites...

  • Pudding...it almost feels like you are eating something!
  • Soups of all forms and shapes - Keep varying flavours otherwise you will get sick of it fast.
  • Frozen cubes of a variety of juices - If there is any swelling, this will help and the vitamins are good for you too when lacking such things.
  • Mashed Potatoes! - This truly was my best friend...it really feels like food, but just slips down. (add a variety of seasonings to give it added flavour and more of a kick)
  • J-E-L-L-OOOOOOO :) - Again, this kinda feels like "real" food and it slips down with no problem!
  • Cream of Wheat - Very good for getting that full-feeling, and a lil bit of maple syrup or jam makes it even yummier!

Good Luck! I'm sure you will manage just fine!

I actually had six wisdom teeth removed... four of the regulars plus two supernumeraries that were growing behind the top two.

Hurt like hell for two days, bleeding, rinsing my mouth with hot salt water. Ached for two weeks.

Oh, thought this would help... and make you feel better.
