Educator Roll Call

Teaching online takes all the fun out of being on campus during the spring months!

Crazy days indeed - but I hope all the other teachers out there are staying strong, healthy, and sane!

Teaching

I think teaching online is more difficult that teaching in the classroom. I’ll be glad when we go back,

High School, multiple subjects.

My class this term was actually scheduled to be online before all of this new reality came our way. Personally, I find it boring. I like the energy of the interaction with students - and not just the sexual energy! lol I miss interacting with students...

Do principals count? I enjoyed my time in the classroom but I do miss it. The fantasies do not stop though.

I still get to interact with my students but text, email, and other platforms are not the same as being there! I’d rather be in the classroom!

Started 4th year. Spent first week with students and dozens of emails that changed everything everyday multiple times. I wish I hadn't given up drinking.

I must admit I'm glad I'm retired...my hat goes off to all my colleagues still toiling away, whether virtually or in person. I pray that all will be ok, and that you can manage to stay healthy amid all the chaos to come. I know you will do your best, and I love each and every one of you for getting up every day and doing what needs to be done. Stay safe my peeps.:)

Was a bit overwhelmed with the first two weeks of classes here! just now emerging from the whirlwind. Teaching remotely sucks! Though I must say it was intriguing, if not a little disconcerting to have "office hours" on zoom and chat with one of my students as she was sprawled out on her bed at home...

Responding to prettykitty about her students needing a couple more years past 4th grade before they start thinking about her in a "naughty" way. I'm male and i went through puberty in third grade. It was very weird for me. I weighed about 60 pounds and had a 6 inch plus dick. Believe me, in 4th grade i had those thoughts about any teacher that so much as breathed heavily around me. I was completely confused about how to act on my feelings with any girl my own age though which was probably good for everybody though. So instead I would just masturbate pretty much double digit times daily. Ahhhh good times. :)
Anyway don't be surprised about students in 4th grade staring at you with an interesting look on their face. I know I would be. By the way, I taught middle school science for 20 years and love your job, you do make a big difference in childrens lifes.

You know I have to agree with this statement completly, and funny though it was, she was in bed during an online class with the camera on. I am not sure I will ever get comfortable with what feels like teaching class in the students homes.....:)

I had to change careers to support a family member but I was a kickass primary school teacher!

rapidly the semester comes to a screeching end tossing us into the dust of faded memories as we regroup, renew, and start afresh a month later...

Hope everyone is keeping their heads above the twirling waters of the end of the term and finding a few sparks of enticement and life to enjoy!

Retired from teaching high school in NC last June after 34 years. Kudos TO all of you who are out there teaching through the pandemic!

Hey, why not? There are plenty of threads out there where people of a like mind can find one another. I decided to take a stab and see if I could create a place for educators to stop in, post some comments and just say hello to one another. So, if you are an educator (any age, any subject) or just like us stop by and say hi.

Don't let the s/n fool you, that was from a previous job, but I like the name enough that I'm not going to change it.

I'm a high school math teacher and I'm hoping to hear from more of you.

University professor here!
