I know it's likely been covered somewhere in the Forums, probably multiple times but for the life of me I can't seem to find a thread that covers my question. So... I'm posting here to see if anyone can steer me in the right direction or simply answer my question. QUESTION: I have a published story that is part of a series but due to a spacing difference in the title, it's out of order with the previous stories. <rolling eyes> Simply a matter of the number being - 4 - instead of -4- . My question is: Is there a way to edit the title and not have to resubmit it as a whole new story? Surely there must be a work around somehow. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, and thanks for simply reading this message at all.

You have to resubmit the whole story as an EDIT, and correct the glitch in the title - can take 2 - 3 weeks. There's no short cut.

The alternative is to create a Manual Series and sort out the correct order there - but even then, a new Series goes off to the site for approval, which can take the same amount of time.

If you're contemplating more than nine chapters, you need to use chapter # 01, 02, 03 etc. If you don't number like that, your sequence will go out of order once you get to chapters 10 and 11. The auto-sequencing follows an alphanumeric sort (which is why your chapter -4- went wrong in the first place).
