Hi all,

First up, I'm new here. Don't let that put you off though.

I'm offering myself up for some editing whilst I work - slowly - on my own writing.

I guess that I should let you know how I can you, shouldn't I? Well, I'm experienced at both writing and editing a wide range of genres and styles. I was a high school English teacher, here in the sunny UK, for 7 years so think it's fair to say that I have a decent grasp of structure, voice, style and the nuts and bolts of our fair language. I'm now an instructional designer so spend much of my day writing seriously dull copy for compliance training. That said, I do get to present this copy in fun ways.

I can also edit for both US and UK English, so don't worry about me correcting your apologize to apologise...

Essentially, I love writing - the process of creating and consuming the finished product. I adore helping people to meet their goals when it comes to the written word. I'm unshockable, easy to communicate with, patient and accurate.

Be sure to turn on Private Messages.
