I joined LIT because I am writing a book of straight up porn.. Many different places and many different ways.. I have vanilla sex to straight up to something I have been interested in for along time.. I have not done it, because nobody I have ever been with can earn my trust completely.. I am usually a strong person and I LOVE to be in charge.. I almost demand it because there were so many times I was growing up that I trusted people and they ruined that trust. I have tried to share this fantasy with my husband and he actually said "You might as well go and play Russian Roulette" So .. He does not have the same urgings as me. That is the reason for my book.. It releases tension for me and allows me a healthy release. I tried to include him but he cannot handle it. I am turning to all you nice folks. I just need perspective..

The appeal to me is to actually give myself completely to someone that could hurt me! I am not into the cutting or the scarring from it. I know that this is odd for someone with trust issues and someone that loves to be in control. I understand that in most scenes a submissive is actually the one in control with the use of the safe word..

The "scene" I am working on involves a girl that is tied to a bed, it helps me to imagine it as me, of course. Completely bound to where she cannot move, She is still fully clothed and blindfolded. The person wielding the knife is someone that she trusts completely. She trusts him to cut the clothes and cords off her body to where she eventually is completely nude and can move once she adapts herself to the blade on her body. A complete and total mind fuck. Where the pain from not being in charge is met by the pleasure of the cold steel on her body.

Has any of you experienced this? Have any of you ever entertained this idea? What turns you on about it? I need you to entertain this idea for a moment and then tell me what you think. I would love the feedback if you are willing to give it.. I was about to post this in the Authors thread but I felt with the bondage and edge play it was better adapted here.

If she's blindfolded, add sound effects.

There's nothing quite like the sound of a knife being sharpened, or the click of a flick knife when you're bound and can't see.

Have your dominant character press the back of the blade into her skin, under the clothes, as he or she cuts up and out to remove the clothes. Some materials are quite difficult to cut, so a little research on which ones you have to pull tight before you cut would help a lot.

If actual cutting isn't your thing, there are still some great sensations from running the flat of the blade over bare skin. The potential to cut creates plenty of energy all by itself.

Warm skin is better to do knife play with. Cold people get goose bumps, shivers, cramps, are generally more squirmy and their skin is tighter.

There are bound to be people on here with more experience on the dom side of knife play than me who can fill you in on stuff I've missed. Good luck with the book.

I've done knife-play with a blindfolded sub on a few occasions. I don't remember if I ever used restraints with it, but it's never really seemed necessary; the combination of blindfold and cold metal was always enough to send her into a trance. Very very sexy: trust, vulnerability, and sensation.

If you want the knife to stay cold, in your story-- or in reality-- keep a jug of cold water handy. Metal warms up to body temperature soon enough.

By the time she's really worked up, she will not be able to tell how sharp an edge is. A credit card dragged on edge will convince her that she's bleeding.

I like the idea that once she's cut free she's so deep in subspace that she doesn't move anyway, possibly exasperating the top!

I'm glad someone else brought this up, I was afraid to. Sir uses a knife in some pseudo RPG we do. He tells me before we start to fight him as hard as I can to keep him from penetrating me (without leaving visible marks on either of us, of course). Sometimes I will be punished for not trying hard enough or rewarded for really making him earn it. He is much bigger, stronger and skilled than I am, so it's hard for me to fight him off for many than thirty seconds.

Sometimes, when we do that he uses a fake, blue plastic knife or a real knife with a very blunt tip and no sharp edges, he calls it a trainer. He also has a really big, scary knife with zebra like stripes on the blade. He has used that when I am securely tied down. He will cut me just enough to make me bleed, which sends me into orbit. I know many people will find it over the top, but blood really gets me going. His blood too, once while "fighting" I elbowed him right in the mouth and he kept going with blood dripping from his lower lip HOOOOOTTT!!!
