No I posted the revenue numbers. In fact I posted the sum revenue numbers of Federal, State, and Local to demonstrate that your claim was wrong. You claim that there is no growth in the economy because if there was we would see growth in tax revenue. And then I went and showed you source data that clearly shows a marked increase in revenue. So your claim was completely bogus.

And in fact now you must admit that there has been very significant economic growth since I used your very own standards to prove it.

Did I read the 2011 info wrong? Cus I'm still calling BS that we had revenues of 4.9 trillion and expenditures of 3.6. That doesn't pass the basic BS test if for no other reason than Team Obama isn't literally paying people to get that fact tattoed on their foreheads. Something in those numbers is just wrong and I don't know what it is. I'm just usually pretty good at the this is bullshit game.

There's no bullshit because yeah you did read it wrong. As my post says the 4.9 trillion includes state and local revenues. I used that statistic because it's best suited to refudiate James' claim that "we can tell the economy isn't growing because revenue isn't increasing".

Here are the federal-only revenue stats if you're interested.

2009: 2.1 trillion
2010: 2.2 trillion
2011: 2.3 trillion
2012: 2.5 trillion (projected, though with the updated job numbers we're looking at 2.6 trillion)
