Easy Holiday Season Morning 12/11/00

Well the X-mas party came and went - very nice - cool TV studio's (you've all seen'em on yer own tube) overlooking Times Square. Big giant windows to look out of and silence too - sound proof. They had roast beef for dinner and door prizes. The Shebabe won a camera and promptly left it in the cab - pissed me off. Baby sitter cost us 80 whopper's - pissed me off. Between the camera and the sitter/kid thing - about a $300 night. Pissed me off. Merry Christmas.

But, but, but - feeling about an 8.5 this morning. Only thing dragging me down (once again) - those damn Redskin's. Looks good for the Giants - Jets too but the got their heads handed to'em.

Oh well - have a bright shiny day - even if it's only in your mind.

No bright shiny day here. Dark and windy and cold. There is talk of snow tomorrow night, and The Rock is proceding to panic. There will be runs on the grocery stores today most likely. Fucking wimps! I'm my usual 6, and will probably hit a 0 today again. Work is a bitch, and it's not getting better until well after Christmas. But, I have tomorrow off, and am looking forward to it. *sigh* Off to work for me.

Snow...?

<Peeking head in.> I've been awake all night, and since easily 10pm last night it's been snowing. Nonstop. Still going now. I have (with the sligh help of some wind) easily a foot of snow on my balcony. ~sigh~

It's a snow day for me! Took one look out of the window this morning and decided to burn a vacation day to stay home. I'm in a good mood and it just isn't worth screwing it up to fight a blizzard to get to work and then fight the blizzard to get home tonight. I can work from home just as well for a day. And waste a little time at Lit inbetween.

Morning Sparky. I am not a fan of office christmas parties either. Too much "politicken" to relax and enjoy.

Fixing for a minor dump of snow and freezing rain ce soir. Unlike our southern brethren there will be no run on batteries and perishables at the super markets.

Major tooth ache today. Have an appointment with the dentist at 3:00 but until then I am climbing the walls in pain trying not to rip the tooth out myself with a pair of pliers.

Good Morning Literoticans,

You know it's cold when your car screams "Fuck You!" in the morning. It's been below zero for a few days now, life goes on in the northern plains.

I went out of town with my wife to her company Christmas party. We got a free hotel room, twenty bucks and a pretty good meal (something about hotel rooms that make us naked immediatly, we did our romping before the party). I had never seen my wife's boss before, she had described him as looking like "Howdy Doody" but it became unanimous around our table (after some humorous speculation) that he is a full-size, walking, talking, pointy-nosed replica of Toy Story's "Woody." LOL

I'm piled on here at the store, I worked all day yesterday and I'm still not caught up. Where's my coffee?

Mornin' morning. *yawn* Had a big trip to KY this weekend to visit my two twin nieces and had a wonderful time. They are just old enough now to smile big smiles and even get a little laugh. I was in heaven.

This morning wasn't so cold and looks like the boss will be giving year end bonus this Fri. instead of year-end and that makes me very happy.... so I'm an 8 today.

Morning Sparky, wind is up arround 20 knots outa da north, up here on the high plains. We had what will prolly be our high temp at 12:01 down to 20 and still falling. A light snow started about dawn and is now pretty steady. I'm off so I've started my chile pot going, may need to run out forn corn masa to finsh up though. Promised Swimmer cinnamin rolls after school, so I need to get them working pretty soon. I would say I'm about a 9.5 with posibilities for a 10.
