Is this correct?

Manuel explained, “Mi hermano!” (My brother!)

MC does a huge favor for his family and even the mother says that the MC is her third son.
 
'Mi hermano' is correct spanish for 'my brother'.
Not sure I agree with the dialogue tag though. Did you mean 'exclaimed'?
 
The scene is MC comes into the room. Manuel saved his blood brother from getting in trouble with the law by proving that brother's innocence conclusively and getting the charges dropped.

That is an enthusiastic greeting from Manuel.

Manuel, his brother, and his mother consider him family now for helping them in a big way.
