But on a serious note everyone is really keeping their spirits up, there hasn't been really any outburst from people except from one dude who got mad cause he was standing in line for 4 hours for wood. Our shelves are bare wiped clean, water? you better find someone nice enough to give you some bottles to fill up because there isn't any water.

one good thing the tolls are free. We have been told not to leave Broward county, hell I was going to tuck my tail and go back to Lake City but we can't move and the roads are congested. So here we go on this wild roller coaster that hasn't one thread of any humor.

last I heard 70,000 residents are without electric due to the first rain band that came through, traffic lights are out on 14 street causeway and its really calm for the storm to be so close, it has down graded thank God and its moving at 4 miles per hour. I too am in Pompano Beach and most of the people here are doing as their asked ,ok except for me I am nosey and just had to see the ocean and when I got there it wasn't anything different. We did have 2 fatalities in the Bahams I believe a 18 year old working with an electrical tool stepped in a water puddle and that was all she wrote. Its really calm for the dumb storm to be 100 miles off the coast. Our curfew has been lifted, but *NOT* the mandatory evacuation
We were placed under a curfew due to some bars wanting to open up and having a Hurricane party. yeah just what we need is a bunch of drunks driving and dieing during a storm.
