Thank you for responding. So you controlled the controls remotely to which he was hooked up to?? And you weren't video calling or anything??I’m not sure if this is what I tried or not. I did try something with a Lit guy. His request. I had to download an app. I controlled the device with my phone. Although he said he liked it, I had issues on my end.
The issues? We were in different parts of the world. I couldn’t see him or his reactions. I’d never used the device before. My phone showed me a variety of patterns from which to choose. I had no idea what these options were doing to him.
I felt like a deaf person seated at a piano that had been tinkered with to the
point where no key actually played the note it was supposed to.
I think if you were to use this with a partner, the partner should be physically with you and should also be familiar with your body and how it reacts.
Thank you so much for responding!I have enjoyed mine but it works best if you don’t have to adjust the controls yourself. Controls run be another or by a program would be preferred.
I tried an off the shelf TENS unit on my penis but could not feel a thing from it. It did not have an insertion attachment.I used a TENS unit as part of physical therapy after an injury. I don’t think it helped much and I have a very weird association with that sensation now, too. I don’t think I would want to play with one sexually, but for those who do - stay safe![]()
Very good advice. Thank you.Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.
You really have to experiment - individuals respond very differently to e-stim, both placement and power level.
My first suggestion is, don't try a medical TENS unit, get a kink specific control box and electrodes.
My second is, if the subject is male, try lots of different types of electrodes, and placements thereof as well, and see what works.
I am a Dom, but always try new things on myself before using them on my amazing slave or a play partner. So I experimented quite a bit on myself with my new e-stim box.
The loop electrodes, as shown in that image, only work so so for me. I found it hard to get good contact with them, plan on plenty of gel. Location was also super important, as shown in that image right up against the glans seemed best.
I had better luck with pad electrodes, placed either at the glans, at the base of the penis, or on the perineum behind the scrotum.
Remember that you need two electrodes...
I did not experiment with sound electrodes, which seems like they might work very well, neither with anal electrodes, ditto. You just have to play around and see what works for you.
In the end, I concluded that e-stim is great for pain delivery, great for clitoral stimulation, but not great (for me at least) for either keeping me hard or making me cum.
Your mileage may vary.
So there are basically two ways to use electricity during play. One is the TENS style e-stim that we have been discussing. The other is what they call a violet wand - basically a plasma device where the device generates a voltage (but very very low current) and if the subject is grounded (which they basically always are) then an arc will jump from the tip of the wand to the skin of the subject and "zap" them.Hey, as a Dom have you ever experimented with the electrified spanking paddle? I've heard of that but never used one. Kind of like a bug zapper???
The answer to that really depends on what you are trying to accomplish, and how well you know your play partner.Oh. One more thing. How and where do you recommend I start with a female sub??
