Dungeon First Aid

I was going to put this in the Cafe but consider dungeon emergency first aid an important issue and worth a discussion.

I appreciate this thread greatly - and am ashamed to say that I only have the scissors + some disinfectant (not really an emergency thing, though). I think I need to go out and buy another first aid kit... (As a required emergency "first responder" I have two "to-go" bags that include same + 1 at home & 1 in my car.)

OK, I DO have a first-aid kit at home (I just don't think of my teensy studio apartment as my dungeon, even though I do play here sometimes).

Can I also mention (not first aide but certainly connected to safety) condoms and latex gloves, always, even when there is no intention of genital play...

We have the scissors handy in the bedroom, and I always keep a fully stocked medicine cabinet (I have kids). Everything from Bandaides to Vetwrap, and plenty of neosporine.

They can't stay in the kit, but ice packs should always be in the freezer (or a cooler if you are away from home). A bag of frozen peas or corn is a wonderful substitute.

Smelling Salts

Glucose tablets, since sub space can also entail a blood sugar drop

My first aid kit is not QUITE up to field surgery kit standards, but it's not shabby!

toenail clippers (Gotta keep em somewhere, I can ALWAYS find the first aid kit!)

neosporin
Alcohol Wipes
Hand sanitizer
cloth, latex free, standard bandaids in various sizes
cloth, latex free, knuckle and finger tip bandages
Nitrile Gloves
gauze pads (2x2, 3x3 and other sizes)
Medical Cloth Tape (Latex free)
Paper Tape (Latex free)
Vet wrap
Ace Bandage

The bolt cutters and fire extinguisher are NOT in the fist aid kit but ARE kep in the 'dungeon'.

I keep a well stocked first aid kit, period. The one in my car has bandaids, alcohol wipes, benedryl, hydrocortisone cream, sun screen, and wet wipes.

The one in my house has all of the above, plus scissors, neosporin, an ace bandage, gauze, and tape. I also have ice packs in the freezer, and aloe vera gel in the fridge.

Ok, I admit it. I was a girlscout for 10 years.

I think I would like all of that just to be used in medical play.
