Dull thread

Before treating any garment, always first refer to the instructions on the care label.

1) Plant fertilizers contain dye which can be difficult to remove. First, pretreat the stain with liquid detergent <breve> Tide Liquid or Tide Liquid with Bleach Alternative <breve> and rinse thoroughly.

2) Using a PLASTIC bucket, create a soak solution by adding 1/2 use Tide with Bleach® per gallon of water. Allow the garment to soak for up to 30 minutes, weighting the item with a WHITE towel to keep it totally submerged. Discard your soak solution appropriately when you're finished.

3) Wash in hottest water safe for the fabric with 1 use of Tide with Bleach.

4) Air dry. Repeat the procedure, if necessary.

5) If the stain persists, soak white items in a diluted solution of water and liquid chlorine bleach. If the stain is not removed in 15 minutes, it cannot be removed with bleach. Remove the garment from the solution so you do not weaken the fabric. Also be sure to bleach the whole garment, not just the stain.

WOW!!

That beats the hell out of counting stars and organizing spice rack. Nice Job!

Make that "Goddess," if you please.

For a limited time, I am accepting specific stain & fabric requests. We've covered plant food on white lycra spandex. I'm certain this forum must have other interesting stains to remove.

What is it with you?

You're already a Patron Saint (of something or other)
I go ahead and deem you a Queen and you're immediately upping it to Goddess.

Obsess Much!?!

~lucky...bowing down to the Goddess of Dullville;)

The title of Queen has been tarnished by her family. And her hats. I like the corgis, though.

Your stain and fabric type, since you didn't select them, have defaulted to...

Perspiration/Sweaty Odor on Colored Polyester

1) Always make sure you protect colored items by pretesting the effects of stain removal techniques on a hidden area of the garment.

2) Using a PLASTIC bucket, create a soak solution by adding 1/2 use Tide® per gallon of water. Allow the garment to soak for up to 30 minutes, weighting the item with a WHITE towel to keep it totally submerged. Discard your soak solution appropriately when you're finished.

3) Wash in warm water with 1 use of Tide®.

4) Air dry. Repeat the procedure, if necessary.

Alright Goddess...

I'll go with perspiration/sweaty so long as the fabric is lace or silk. Polyester is a foreign substance to me, only used here to get the fireplace roaring:D

(note to self: don't piss off the goddess or she'll be cleaning the 'warms-with-friction' lotion out of my satin sheets next, for all the world to see);)

Diaper Rash Ointment on White Washable Silk

Refer to the garment's care label for handling precautions. Be sure to test any stain removal technique in a hidden area in order to avoid damage to the garment.

1) Physically remove the stain by scraping it with a dull knife. Shake residue from garment.

2) Use a spot remover or take the item to a professional dry cleaner for treatment.

3) Pretreat using Ivory Snow®.

4) Hand wash in warm water with 1 use of Ivory Snow®.

5) Rinse thoroughly.

6) Let line or air dry. Repeat procedure, if necessary.

Sher! I told you not to let the dog sit on your white silk while her hemorrhoids were acting up. Geez! Good thing you're so great with stains, though. Would suck to have to ditch the nice silk.

ella, sorry to break it to you but there's only one goddess on the AH and it's La Svenskaya (so deemed before your time). Stick with the patroness role.

Hey there you handsome bloke!

Sounds like your day was a whirlwind of excitement. I need to look into your industry to liven things up around here.

I've got some inventory around here that needs taken...or are you too tired?
