But if the sorting hat says your house, that is your fated house. It's not where you have to go, though. I guess because Dumbledore is a nice guy. Snape would make them. And Umbrigde.

Hmm, you are right, if it declares out loud, I mean that's where you go, well as far as Umbridge and Snape are concerned, bully what they think, losing points left and right with those two. I'm not one for very strict rules or guidelines.
