Actually I've never understood the need to 'put down' another person here. If I don't like someone, I simply ignore them.

That's what I've been doing with you lately Lance, I've ignored you and your posts. By doing that I've still been able to enjoy my time here at Lit without disruption.

According to her own words, the reason for the thread was to give people the chance to say how much they liked her.

I see nothing wrong with making fun of such a pathetic attempt to get attention. I find it very funny indeed. If that is flaming someone, so what? She has me on ignore anyway, so she won't even read it, and if I wrote her a pm about it, she would just post that on the boards as she has done on numerous occasions in the past.

What I find especially funny, is that she had to go back and change her original post as within the space of a month, she has a new love of her life who completes her like no other ever has.

I'm sorry that you don't see the humor in her in behavior.

If your clarity is of such a magnitude and this is what you do with it, what does that say about you? For all you know she may be at the edge of a suicidal precipice. Would you knowingly push her over the edge? You do not have to be co-dependent when you deal with people but a little sensitivity is the mark of a human being. If you do not like her, or hate her, walk away that is all you have to do for you cannot change her or any other human being only yourself. Good luck to you.

What does my post say about me, well, it says that I can see through flirtatious bullshit and judge a person by their actions, not their words.

If Dream is at the "edge of a suicidal precipice", then perhaps she should be reading some self-help books rather than spending her time here. If you think that I am going to take any responsibility for her actions you are nuts. I have a great deal of sensitivity to other people, their problems and their feelings. However, I will not waste them on someone who has proven herself to be less than caring of others, when they are in a time of need. Her behavior, which I am sure you are unaware of, has caused me to post here. Besides, she has me on ignore so she won't even see my words. They are intended for others, as I have no desire to try and change dream. That would imply that I actually care about her or believe that I could influence her.

In my life, I have met a lot of two-faced phonies, but she takes the cake. My posts are to inform others of her true nature so they are not hurt by her actions.

Even a psychologist will turn their back on a patient in need when they lack the dettachment to handle the sitiation well.
We humans cannot always be there even for the ones we love all the time. The level in which we can give depends on each individual, some cannot give at all especially when they are walking wounded full of hurt.....to have false expectations of people is to open oneself to hurt. I believe that all people want to help and be there for their fellow human beings and loved ones but most lack the capacity to be there "all" the time.
