I have a WIP bag I keep in the car just for emergency... Like oh shit we forgot we had practice.... Or oh shit we're stuck in traffic .... Or I don't want to go, and she won't let me leave with yarn.... Oops... I found emergency yarn in the car...

I did this on a recent road trip..my current project was a big reach when I thought I'd accomplish it in a car ride

The is how I roll too. You really never know when you need that emergency project on your hook! If I have a last minute cancellation at work that's usually an hour or so of time I could be crocheting if I have nothing else to do lol.
