I have seen a dew threads asking people about their first time submittin, so I want to ask the Dom's out here what it was like for then the first time they were in a Dominant position and how it felt for them. I remember my first time I had been married for a little over a year and my wife had a talk with me about it. The first time it came around sexually I was awkward and nervous that I was gonna hurt her or push her to far. After I relized that she enjoyed it and wanted more it was an awesome feeling and now it has become normal for us and we have began training.

Stories about awkward, nervous, newbie doms?? But that's soooo unsexy!

I'm not dominant, nor a switch, nor a Top, but I have wielded the whip a couple of times when asked. The first time I did that, I was a bundle of nerves and felt far from comfortable in that position (and damn, it made my arm hurt after a while!), but I thought I was doing relatively ok and didn't let my nerves show too much.

So imagine my face when the guy I was umm...handling turned over and said that it might be more pleasurable for him, if I could dial down the sound effects. Yeah, I'd been making all kinds of whooshing sounds without even noticing it myself.

Cue one D type trying to keep a straigh face and failing miserably, one bottom type going "honest, you're doing ok, just less whooshing" and one seela quietly trying to sink through the floor.

No more sound effects since then.

If it's any consolation: I understand that when Ewan McGregor was acting for "Phantom Menace", the director had to tell him "you don't need to make the light-saber noises, we add those in afterwards".

The first time I topped my D-type (at his request) I started to swing the crop and had a mini-panic attack. Just fell into a pile on the floor in tears. We went to Hellfire the next night (back in the Dawn of Time (tm), and had a Domme friend of ours teach me to top him. I was so scared of screwing up in front of her that I did much better. Twisted logic much?

The first time I was ever dominant, we both were way, way under age, so I can't tell the story. It was a wonderful experience for both of us...but especially for me. It was quite an education for us both, too. I have very fond memories of that summer. :D

I just wish we'd known back then why we enjoyed it so much. :(

So I'm in good company, then. :D

I totally understand. I've never been able to do anything resembling topping alone without my D present, because I really need someone to tell me what to do. Everything flies out of my mind when I'm put in that position. The situation is highly uncomfortable for me, but then again my uncomfort makes for a great spectator sport for the D, I'm told.

Was this Hellfire when it was in Chelsea? I had some good times there...

Yeah, my first time being a dom was pretty nerve wracking. I was barely even hitting her, but yet it still felt as if every single one might break her :( but as time went on, I definitely got more and more used to it :nana:

I think it's considered part of Chelsea now. Then it was just the meat-packing district. Good times indeed!

Ah, see I always thought of 9th as the line for the meatpacking district, and Hellfire was on the east side of 9th, therefore I think of it as Chelsea! It was actually just a couple of blocks from C's place. We had fun there.

Of course now it's all gentrified, even Florent is gone...

I was chatting with some random submissive girl in this BDSM online sex roleplay thingy and there were no dominant sorts around. So, to amuse us, I invented a handful of imaginary dominant guys and made up a story about what they'd do with her (or, well, her alter ego in a fictional world). I realized that I like to be the one running the show, because then I get to decide how it goes, more or less. I like telling the story.

I was 23 and freaked out, but turned on like crazy. An assignation with someone I knew was a dick, but a charming one.

I knew I was cut out for this kind of thing the second his tongue hit my shoes and my panties soared to 103F.

I would say that despite people who told me they were Dom they weren't, they just like the idea of it and wanted to explore not truely control.
