I've been doing a little bit of research here and there about the BDSM lifestyle.

I recently filled out an application for a mistress site, here in Austin texas, and I left her a comment about the curiosity, I had with becoming a dominatrix. And I'm looking for as much advice as I can, about it from a males perspective. What they do, how much they make, is it worth it? etc...

If anyones interested. Male or female. Feel free to message me.

Thank you!

I do it for the enjoyment that I receive from having someone submit and give up their control to me. There is more if you want to know.

I think you will find that the financial opportunities for female domme's are much greater than those for male doms. This is simply a reflection of the entire commercial sex market. Men are willing to pay for it much more often than women.

I have had some experience with professional domme's and I can offer some information if you would like to get in touch with me.

I don't have experience as a professional myself, but have inquired about the possibilities in the past. There seems to be two main paths for most professionals in this field. One is to produce some sort of content, with or without a partner and in my opinion, seemed to be similar to being in the porn industry.

The other would be to do private sessions by phone, cam, in person, etc. The latter seemed to be much more closely related to escorting. I think doing private sessions would be more lucrative and could eventually lead to more regular income, it would also require more work to develop the clientele.

In either case, women would undoubtedly earn more than men and most likely find more customers willing to buy their products or services. Obviously if you work as an in-house Domme at a dungeon, you'll have to share your profit, but it's a safer environment.

Regardless of your path, I would think your ability to earn would be based largely on your competency in your duties, and how much effort you are willing to make to build it into a successful career. Like all independent contractor type jobs, however, your income will have highs and lows that may be affected by things that have nothing to do with you or your work.

I recommend you do more research on your specific area, and develop some sort of business plan for how you will acquire and grow your client list. Keep in mind that even though you're acting as Dom/Domme, doing it as a profession requires you to be somewhat of a "people person", in order to figure out what they need/want and be able to keep them coming back for more. Hope some of this helps.

I find a Dominatrix rather infimidating in a very attractive way. A sadist in a nice leather and lace package.

I would think that you would want to have some input from submissive man rather than dominant man.

My assumption is the marketplace reward for dominant man is they get to play with submissive women not that they get paid to do so though.

But a man can dream...

Why would you ask your customer base what they plan on paying you? Investigate market rates, talk to other women in the field, look for prodomme message boards.

Why would you let your customer base tell you what to do? They'll all say they expect to lick your pussy while you stand on your head balancing a tray of fruit on your ass because that's how their last Mistress ended every session.

Set YOUR boundaries, every single time. You may be providing a service, but YOU get to dictate what it is.

Your mileage will vary. Don't let men set your rates or your sights, though. Don't get into a situation where a house Mistress treats you as an employee or a pet versus what you are - a contractor renting her space.

I retired from in-person largely because my profit margins from virtual/phone only are so much better. Consider investments versus profit.

Oh, and guys saying "oh I wish I could be a prodom" you can. You can be paid to work with the same largely mainstream-unattractive and periodically socially un-gifted 40-80 yo male customer base I did.

Do you think it's more sexually stimulating for us? That's why it's a job. I wasn't getting paid to get hot women off, news flash.

If you want to go ahead and become a prositute do your home work just like any job.
Watch vedios and you can imitate what you see.
Man are visual creatures so dress sexy and put on an act for them.

Personaly what gets me off as a dominate is haveing a girl submit to me.
The act of thier submission turns me on because they are doing this for me.
It shows their love and commitment to the relastionship.
I would never pay for it because that is not an act of true submittal.
I would know that they would be doing it for the money and there would be no love a real submission involved.

That said, to set up a business I would think that you you want to have a "dungen". Which could be any room that you set up to turn your clients on.
Again look it up on the net you can find many ways of setting up this room.

Safty; again there is penty of info of that on the net, look it up.
What's not covered is your own safety.
Toss large male friend some bucks to hang around in the other room in case your sissy boy just wants to rape and hurt you instead of the other way around at least for the first 3 or 4 sessons that you are haveing with a new client untill you know what the guy better.

I do not condon this activity.
I personaly think it's wrong, I only offer this advice because if you are going to do it at least do it right. I have a feeling that you are a bit lazey and see this as making a few quick bucks. Most likely what you want to do is illeagle and if you end up going to jail don't cry about it you should have done your home work and know what are you you are getting yourself into.

This is exactly why talking to men about this is pointless altogether.

If you're concerned about her, why are you giving her dangerous and shit advice?

Setting up in your house - NO - dangerous and a possible nightmare. Setting up in a residential 'hood - BAD for everyone involved.

Relying on male friends for physical safety - ok, but numbers are better, work for a house first, rent space from a house second.

Don't take on the headache of your own space. Be extremely careful about any outcall - for me, it was just almost never worth it, I would never do outcall that wasn't referenced thirty people to sunday. Femdom in a large city becomes a small town - you all know who the clients are after a while and who is a creeper to be kept out. A good grapevine trumps one muscled friend - keep them away from you in the first place is the best defense.

Looking sexy is important but it's really just the start of it. Also, it is completely possible to make money as a disciplinarian who does not offer anything blatantly illegal (dick torture, ass insertions) however you will work harder to find your client base. I'm completely proud to be a sex worker, but I'm also honest about the fact that my boundaries were never friendly to "contact" - a Domme is sometimes JUST a Domme, really.

Learn how to screen by talking to other women. Listen to YOUR OWN red flags. Don't quit your day job before every client is a CHOICE and not an obligation.
