Dominance

He felt Angel relax, knowing that she was back with him, rather than wherever she had been in her sleep. It was clear to Edward that there was going to be a lot of work needed to fix what her previous Master had done to her. She looked up at him, tears filling her eyes.

"this girl was in the long buried past I am so sorry.... forgive me please my Master."

"Leave the long buried past buried. Your life before you entered my house does not exist. For you, or for Celeste. Both of you are my slaves now. I care about you both. You will suffer no harm in my care. I like you both, and I know the day will come when I will love you both."

He beckoned Celeste over, and held both of his girls in his arms. "My beautiful women, I was going to spend time with you both during lunch, but there is a pressing matter that I must tend to. While I am gone, I want the two of you to keep each other company." He looked at them both, and a naughty grin crossed his face. "If the two of you wish to be sexual with each other, you may do so if you desire. When I return, we will spend some time together, relaxing. Exactly how," he shrugged, "I will decide when I get back.

"You may read, dance, swim, walk the grounds and gardens, entertain each other in what ever non harmful manner you think of, rest or sleep while I am gone."

He kissed his two women tenderly, embracing them individually before and after the kiss. He left Angel's room, and called for Anderson.

"Anderson, I am going to see Johnathon. See that the ladies have lunch before they do anything else. I should be back by mid afternoon. If not, I shall call you to update you accordingly." Anderson nodded.

Edward went and got into one of his private cars, and drove out to Johnathon's estate. He was curious as to the exact nature of the discussion that Johnathon wanted to have with him. Edward was sure it had to do with Aria, but he had no idea of what path it would follow.

]"I suppose....but I am not you, I am not good at things like that. I utterly failed as a housemother. And I don't trust the newest one...not Jade or whatever the newest one is, the ....Cat....is her name," Pearl said quietly.[/I]

Aria nodded and added, "Yes, that Cat has claws. But, she's proving to be...loyal once she finds her loyalties." Aria rises and looks for her robe, still hanging in it's usual spot. Aria throws the transparent black robe over her milk-white skin and then raises her posture a bit as she sits turning to Pearl she reminds her, "I am the Mistress of this house even still, Pearl. You will try because I want you to." she said authoritatively. It felt good to have her authority back. She took Pearl's chin in hand and looked dep into her eyes adding in a softer tone, "...besides, you'll always be my favorite pet. Don't worry."

Donovan smiled, at her, she was certainly learning. "Of course you may child, Housework is always looked kindly at by the master, though we'll be leaving his room shortly, so the mistress and Miss Pearl can sleep.

The room had been immaculately finished, fresh linens, the shower wiped clean so as to prevent mold or mildew, and a fresh robe for the master to wear at evening. "Come little Cosette, we'll take the box with us, he already has his cufflinks for the day." Hurrying out of the room he went towards the servant's main kitchen, a bustling little place with a large dining room. "Are you hungry? Normally the master eats his breakfast with the young girl who wakes him. But today seems ill boding that he did not."

Cat was hungry; in fact she was so hungry she felt light headed. She tried to recall the past couple of days. She had left the institution, been flown to a far away island, stripped naked, gagged, deflowered fallen in love with her mistress and now she was torn between two ambitions. She wanted the role of Mistress to be hers as soon as possible, but she wanted to share her love with Aria and she had no idea how she would achieve both.

Noticing some cereal and a fresh loaf of bread she signaled to Donovan that she would like some. So, later than planned Cat broke her fast before sitting at an old table where she polished the brass. All the time Donovan was watching her every movement, not in a sexual way, but to observe how she was progressing. When she finished the last brass she placed them all back in the box, replaced the polish in the cupboard and removed her overall.

Cat raised her eyebrows and asked “Donovan … you remember you said that housework pleased the Master?” She did not wait for a reply but continued “Could you ask the Master if I can be placed under the Mistress’ direct control? I’d love to work for her and with her, to make up for my past transgressions.” She looked at him with a cheeky smile “If you can fix this for me you will never have to polish shoes again. It will be an honour to take that job from you.” She blew a kiss and then said “What do you say? Do we have a deal?”

Johnathon had spent the day polishing the old jeep. It was sedate and quiet, for a jeep, and uncommonly heavy. He'd never been much of a car man. Even growing up with money he'd been frugal enough to take a pedal bike to school, and later when it was befitting he'd been driven in a town car. He hardly replaced them preferring to rent for big gala affairs, not that he attended beyond his own shareholder meetings. But he'd had this jeep more than ten years now. How dirty it would get today.

Watching Edward leave one of his cars, he gestured to the passenger seat. "Get in, whatever is going to be said it will be said in private."

Before he left Master Edward had given them carte blanche to do what ever they wanted too; but angel was too emotionally exhausted to do anything, even eat. Smiling at Celeste she suggested,

“All I want to do right now is sleep, why don’t you take your horse out for a long run and we’ll meet up later and have some fun?” After Celeste left she removed her dress and resumed her

former position on the bed, pulling the bedclothes up beneath her chin, staring into space before she finally fell into a deep and dreamless.

Celeste nodded to Angel suggestion and walked out of the house. She went to the stable and lead Star out of her stall. She smiled as Star bumped her back. Star knew that they were going for a ride and could not wait. Celeste smiled and led her out of the stables. She jumped on her back and they took off towards the beach. When they reached the sand, Star began to slow to a cantor then a trot and finally to a walk. Celeste laid her head against Star's neck. As far as anyone could tell, the horse and the girl were one.

Edward pulled up, and saw Johnathon with his favourite jeep. It brought a smile to his face thinking of the few times that Johnathon took Edward out "scrub dashing" - driving around through the bush, just enjoying the freedom of driving wherever the hell they wanted.

"Get in, whatever is going to be said it will be said in private."

This was the second sign of what would be talked about. 'Said in private' was also meant as never to be known outside the two of them. It was something that Johnathon started and Edward took up as well. Only the most sensitive of subjects were spoken that way.

"Sure," Edward said, jumping into the passenger seat and buckling in. Johnathon started the engine without any more talk, and drove off.

Something was readily apparent and wrong, Johnathon never drove as fast as this, never kept his eyes as focused upon the road as this, never drove through brush and scrubland like he was a teenager cheating death. "Edward, how long have we known each other?"

Edward whistled as he thought. "Almost 20 years now."

"And in this time how much have I kept hidden from you. Since we became men."

"I couldn't guess accurately, but I would say not much," Edward answered in a slightly guarded tone.

Johnathon's voice raised and he took his eyes completely from the path to look at his friend. "Then just tell me why Edward" his driving accelerated and the grating in his voice took a different level. "You know as well as I do why we're having this talk. Maybe better."

Edward stared out the the windscreen for a few seconds "I saw that Aria was in some distress and you were rather busy at the time. I went to see what was wrong."

"And you didn't think to tell me?"

"I thought I'd be able to help out both of my friends without disrupting things too much."

"Stop, that bullshit, I'm not some client you can bulldoze over. You know that those reasons won't fly with me. You can't expect me to believe you thought you were only HELPING!"

"You asked me why Johnathon. So then give me the chance to answer you or have you made up your mind already?"

Johnathon's teeth ground and his foot pinned further to the floor the jeep accelerating well past 160 km an hour.

"Johnathon..." Edward started gripping handholds with his knuckles white, pressing himself back into the seat. "Are you trying to get us both killed? Because if you're not, could you please slow down a little. I know why you're so pissed off. But what eventually happened was not what I had planned. It was a bloody accident. A mistake." The pitch of Edward's voice was rapidly climbing as Johnathon's driving got more erratic.

"A mistake?" Johnathon swerved angrily but didn't take his foot from the peddle. "Like that makes it all better, A fucking mistake!"

"Johnathon, I'm not saying another word to you until you bring this vehicle to a stop. Because if I keep talking to you while you're like this, we'll both be dead wrapped around a tree." Edward's voice conveyed the fear he was feeling about his safety.

The jeep turned abruptly throwing both men together as Johnathon made a three point turn with hardly a few motions, grinding to a halt he looked back at his friend. "Talk then."

"I noticed how flat out busy you were, how distracted you were with things. And I mean compared to what you can normally handle. Aria was clearly in distress. I went to see what was wrong, have a talk to her. She agreed when I asked her. We went to the stables so we could have some privacy." Edward took a deep breath as the memories of the event came back to him. "I asked her what was wrong. Then she addressed me by a name that was only used by her. I called her by her old name. I could see she was having the same doubts about you that she had about me before we separated. I wanted to help her clear her mind, to make sure that she made the right decision.

"The talk was a lot more emotionally charged that I expected it to be. I told her that I still loved her. That's when things went in the wrong direction.

"I knew she wasn't mine any more. I know she's not mine anymore. I had my chance, and I made a big mistake and let her go. I gave her one last kiss, the farewell she should have got from me.. Seven years ago. Then she asked me why I couldn't still have her. She kissed me... The years rolled back to when it was her and I. I... I asked and she gave."

"Stop." Johnathon's voice was choked as his head rested against the steering wheel, hung limp in the five point harness. "Please just stop talking."

"But then, part the way through, she realized what she was doing was wrong. She stopped. She couldn't keep going knowing how much it was going to hurt you."

"I almost wish I had just made up my mind. It would have been so much simpler." For a few moments his eyes looked out the windshield unable to stare at his oldest rival. Johnathon's teeth gritted and he sucked air through them seeming for all the world like a man punched in the soul. "So this is not the conversation you think it is. And I don't know what reasons you think you're giving." His head dropped. "But she loves you."

"Yes, I know that now and I still love her too."

"Do you still love her? Really?"

Edward looked Johnathon square in the eye. "Yes. I have never stopped loving her."

His pause was long and ominous. Waiting for something from his friend. "Then god damn it. I love her too. And I can't stop that not for you, or anyone else. But never for you."

"I'm not asking you to. Do you know why we broke up? Did she tell you?"

"To some form or another. It doesn't matter though."

"It does matter."

"We left it behind."

"Well, do you know how glad I was when I found out that you and her were in love? I was so pleased. Because you were the only person that I would trust with a treasure that precious and in all that time, I have seen how happy you have made her which is why I have done nothing that would cast doubt until yesterday when I made a mistake... again"

Johnathon's words were ice, A colder tone than any he'd spoken in his life. His hand thrummed the gear shift and the Jeep spun tires shredding the ground, until they faced the path of destruction that went back to the mansion."To be honest I could hardly care how happy you were. Schadenfreude my friend, your loss was my gain, what you threw away I placed on a mantle, and raised higher than heaven. If this were up to me, I'd throw you off my island and never let you speak to her again." Something in his voice made the jeep hush, only the noise of the engine rumbling broke the silence, and when Johnathon turned it off there was nothing. Finally his voice broke the silence cracking itself. "But this isn't the conversation I wanted to have, this isn't the talk you think we're having." His voice wavered. "And I can't do that. Not to you. Not to her. Not if I want to live with myself." Aria's smile flashed through his eyes. And Johnathon couldn't cry, though he felt pain worse than anything else he'd ever endured before. A hard pit in his stomach of raw hate that he wanted to get rid of. this had been his idea hadn't it? "I'll share her with you."

Thoughts raced through his head. How Johnathon viewed the change in Aria's partner, and what he really wanted to do to Edward. Some of what Johnathon said was well within reason, but some of it hammered him hard. But his last words caught him like a bolt from the blue.

"What? You'll share her? Why?"

"Because she'll stay otherwise, but I fear this will happen again, and I'll never let you have her from me. Do you understand that you broke my trust, that she broke my trust? Do you understand that without that I can't let you stay here on this island, and I'll never let her leave it." Johnathon's voice took it's familiar quality as if nothing had happened in this jeep, as if he hadn't just tried to kill himself and his friend over something he was proposing happen. "If she wants to see you it will always be with me present, I'll have nothing hidden. I will not share another woman with you, only her, and only together. Without her knowledge I'm making the offer to you, because I love you to. I can't have this hatred between us." Johnathon's foot revved the motor more than once it was apparent he'd let the jeep take off back through the bush. "Do you accept my proposal?"

Edward stared ahead, thinking through what Johnathon was offering. "Yes... I'll accept it for Aria's sake."

"Then let's go home, and tell her the good news."

"But I will not allow myself to be used to chain Aria down. I know I made a gross mistake, and I am sorry for that. I have hurt two very dear people to me."

"With the noted exceptions, from this day forth, I will not touch any of yours with any part of my person, under any circumstances. You will never have to deal with this type of event ever again. You have my word on that." Edward fixed his eyes forward for the rest of the journey back to Johnathon's house.

Johnathon went silent as well. The first apology from his friend. Well in a manner, but that hardly mattered, Johnathon could tell that something was eating at Edward as well, and this was far from over. Neither man liked to give much, and while Johnathon felt he'd been quite magnanimous in swallowing his pride for Aria's benefit, he knew this stuck in Edward's craw as much or more than his own. Still....

"Old friend for now I accept your apology, and for now this is how it must be. But only for now, the future we have learned holds much." Johnathon's voice fell just slightly out of hearing. "And Aria will not be caged, You can't keep birds like that." The rest of their ride was in silence.

When they arrived at the mansion Johnathon took a long look at his Jeep. Filthy. Almost destroyed, with so many near misses. Any more tension and he might have simply blow the engine, Kilometers away from anything. How foolish that would have been. More foolish if he had wrapped it about a tree as he originally had thought. The jeep had no airbags. "Follow me friend, and please for now keep quiet. the path through the mansion was obvious Johnathon ignoring most of his servants and any of the girls he found save a clipped instruction to have Aria and Aria alone fetched to his bedroom. once there Johnathon invited Edward in. "Wait here and I'll get this sorted out. Please friend trust me when I say I don't like this arrangement right now any more than you, but having her together must be better than not at all. Call your home if you must, I'll send Aria in soon."

Aria had recieved a summons. "The Masters wish to see you in Master Jonaton's bedroom, now." she was told. Aria dressed to the nines and was ready for anything but a knot of uncertainty twinged in her gut. The Masters? Both of them? Why would Jonathon have Edward here? How could any of this possibly bode well for her? she wondered as she made a slow way to the room she was sent to. As she entered the room she saw both the men she loved standing stiffly side-by-side as if they'd just been caught at the end of an uncomfortable and stressful business deal. Aria's face was a huge question mark as she stood in the doorway and waited for one of them to speak.

((I thought I better post to keep the character in. This better be my only RP for a while. Home life is suddenly hectic, I apologize to anyone who I was RPing with in other threads.))

Jade had wandered for the majority of the day, her stomach not even thinking of food until well into the afternoon. Her mind had wandered and forgot about the concept of time. The grounds surrounding Master Johnathon's mansion were well kept and admirable. She could only imagine what was happening within the walls, but knew there was no place for her to interfere in the proceedings. It would already most likely be difficult to meet Lady Aria face to face next time their path's crossed. And Jade found that giving them space would be the most help she could give with the little power she had. Her only power now it seemed was her ability to please others, and she was happy with that.

"A lovely afternoon..." she smiled, breathing in the clean air as she noticed the arriving and leaving of several different cars. Her master polished a jeep, rather unusual Jade found considering it's age. Then she lost track of him, but later saw him return with Master Edward from the other mansion. She wanted to sneak over and follow, but also wanted to just sit on the bench outside in the gardens and feel the warmth of the sun as it came out from behind the clouds.

For such a beautiful day, such sorrow to be felt.

Her thoughts wandered to the vision of Aria weeping and distressed, and flashes of her Master and what they had shared flickered through her mind. It had been a wonderfully sad night, so contradictory it seemed impossible to merge the two together.

"I hope they realize they both require each other...even I can see that. A couple of glances is all that was needed to see it so clearly, but love is as blinding as it is captivating and powerful."

Standing up as the sun began to heat her body too much, Jade decided to find someone to talk to. And she had almost reached her room when she ran into Donovan and Cat as they entered the servant's main kitchen. "Can I help you with anything?" she asked, holding her hands behind her back as she looked to Donovan. "You look rather happy Cat, is your day an enjoyable one? I hope your wrist is healing up well."

Angel awoke and felt a lot better for the rest but still very lethargic. Celeste had not returned, angel smiled, she was probably roaming free on that horse she loved so much.

Angel felt adrift and wondered if it was because she hadn’t exercised since her former Masters death, before that she was used to several hours a day of dance, stretching, weights and running on her tread mill. She wondered if her Master had a gym or a dance studio on his estate? Rummaging through her drawers and closet she found no exercise clothing; some things just couldn’t be done naked.

Sighing she returned to her mirror braided her long hair and fastened it on top of her head and proceeded to run through a series of slow ballet moves designed to warm up her supple body; strange the absence of tiny bells as she moved, her movements fluid and controlled. When she had worked up a slight sweat she headed to the door, she would swim; many laps would take her into a happier place.

Arriving at the pool she removed her dress and in an instance her body was slicing through the water a mermaid on a mission, her hair had came loose and flowed freely behind her as she swam one with the element she loved so much; onward she swam leaving behind all her cares and worries.......

Aria had recieved a summons. "The Masters wish to see you in Master Jonaton's bedroom, now." she was told. How could any of this possibly bode well for her? she wondered as she made a slow way to the room she was sent to. Aria's face was a huge question mark as she stood in the doorway and waited for one of them to speak.

When Aria finally came into the room most of the knot in Johnathon's stomach went away. Just seeing her was enough that he knew what he was doing was for the best if obviously not for him, then for all of them. "Aria, lovely. It is hard to describe how much you two hurt me, but I think perhaps; I was not blameless. And I couldn't bear your punishment." His eyes swung to Edward standing in his room for one of the first times. "Or your banishment." A deep breath settled and Johnathon went to Aria kissing her on her lovely mouth and leading her into the room before he closed and locked the door.

"I've decided that I can trust neither of you. Love doesn't make for kept words and glances, and the only way I'll be able to trust you is if I remove the issue of your being together. Aria."His gaze fell upon his lovely first. "Edward" And swept over his friend as he caked away until they were both in his view. "I approve under certain conditions your being together. In no way do I want you to accept what I'm doing as a weakness, But i can't bear to hurt you the way you've hurt me. I realize there are many questions, and yes it is always now and always will be a test. Edward can tell you the terms and conditions, for tonight I'll allow a difference, since you have seven years after these tumultuous two days to catch up on. Aria take Edward to your room, and you may remember what it was you had. You and you alone, and tell no one of this." Johnathon's voice remained as calm and steady and imperious as it always had, as it would now when he addressed either of them. Each new concept was strange, and so much had occurred in the last few days that made him doubt his reasons for the school, his lifestyle as a master, and the reasons he had come to love Aria in the first place. If that was the only constant, then it was what it must be.

"Go it's alright. Enjoy yourselves alone, it has been seven long years." Johnathon placed Aria's hand in Edwards and hustled them from his room, locking the door behind them as they left. His pacing for a few moments took him to his bed where he sat, and in a jumble of emotion wept openly for the first time in almost a decade.

Aria stood with her jaw agape as Jonathon explained the purpose of Edward's visit and his new 'compromise'. She couldn't help feeling as if this was a test. Should she protest? Did he want to see how loyal she was to him?...No, this way of thinking had gotten her nowhere before. He was simply being honest and trying to do what would make them all the least miserable. "I love you so much, Master...Thank you." she breathed as he hustled them out, looking very much as if he feared he might get too emotional before them, a thing she knew he hated to do publically.

As the door slammed shut she stood holding Edward's hand and sighed. Aria looked up into Edward's face for some clue as to how he felt about all of this. "...I love you too. I guess it's always been my problem, loving too many people too much for it to be safe to prevent at least one of us from heartache." Aria caressed Edward's cheek with the back f her hand and whispered, "Of course, I don't expect anything if you don't want to do this. But...I would like...a chance to reconnect. It will be easier if Jonathon knows and sort of understands."

Celeste smiled as Star made her way back to the stables. Once they reached their destination, Celeste dismounted and went to grab the hose and a brush. After she collected the items, she went back to Star and lightly sprayed her with the hose. She put the hose away and began to brush her. Once that was finished, she led her back to her stall and closed the door. She smiled and decided to go for a swim. It was hot out, she thought to herself. She went to the pools and pulled off her dress. She carefully folded it and laid it on a chair. Then she slid into the water. That was when she heard a splash and realized she wasn't alone.

Edward listened to every word Johnathon said, replaying them in his mind over and over, making sure that he heard what Johnathon actually said. After the conversation in the jeep, the exchange of words, what Johnathon just did was not something he even thought would ever happen. He said it wouldn't happen.

Edward didn't view what Johnathon did as a weakness. It was a show of incredible strength and courage. He was so caught up in his thoughts about what had just happened he hardly noticed that he was holding Aria's hand and that they were standing outside Johnathon's bedroom, the door closed behind them.

"...I love you too. I guess it's always been my problem, loving too many people too much for it to be safe to prevent at least one of us from heartache. Of course, I don't expect anything if you don't want to do this. But...I would like...a chance to reconnect. It will be easier if Jonathon knows and sort of understands."

Her whispered words and the gentle touch of her hand on his cheek brought Edward back from his deep, chaotic thoughts. He looked down at the woman he loved, deeply and passionately all those years ago. A woman who loved, and was loved by another man, one who Edward thought of as a brother. He was offered an incredible gift, but he doubted if he was worthy of receiving it.

"Let's... let's retire to your room. There is much to talk about, if nothing else." His voice was low, quiet and laden with something else that not even Edward could identify. He allowed himself to be led by Aria, as he had no idea of where her rooms were.

Aria had only to walk across the hall and down a small corridor lined by two other doors on either side. Her quarters were at the end of the hall, across from the Master's so that the slaves were literally between their two keepers at all times while they slept and enjoyed their nocturnal activities. It was a gentle reminder that they were being cared for always even when the persons were behind closed doors. Now, she led Edward into this room which was her's and had never been anyone elses.

The decor was in rich jewel tones, dark sarpphires and emerald colored velvets and satins offset by occasional hints of cream or even a deep amethyst tone to some of the trim on the bedclothes and curtains. Everything was lush and rich, fruitful and inviting lavish displays of hedonism and passion. This room declared the Mistress of a house of free love lived here and this bedroom definitely invited fantasies to be fulfilled in it....It was the lustful side of Aria's personality brought to life in interior decorating.

Her bed was round and canopied. the bedframe was gold-inlayed,rich, dark, carved mahogony wood with the pattern of coiling ancient treetrunks reaching up to a full canopy of finely detailed branches and leaves at the tops of the posts, one branch had a snake coiled around it, much like the serpent from the biblical Garden of Eden tale. But, if Aria was anything akin to a biblical figuress she was more like St. Mary Magdalene (the beloved disciple, the wifely consort of Christ) the one the other apostles were so jealous of she was later defamed as a bitch, quite literally, they turned her into a prostitute when the tales were rewoven nearly a hundred years after the death of the love of her life...In appearance and in some personality traits Aria could see herself in the long far too abused woman, fiery tresses, intellectual curiosity, and passionate love beyond the understanding of those around her...

...Aria's musings were broken as she watched Edward examine the trappings of her rooms and then settle into a chaise lounger between the doors to the walk-in closet and bathroom. He looked somewhat overwhelmed. She knew the sensation. She herself wasn't sure where to begin now that it was clear what Jonathon expected of them both. She moved to Edward slowly, settling onto the carpet at his feet to lean on his legs as she looked up into his face, "Edward...tell me what you're thinking right now." she said softly, her right arm raising to cup his face in her hand.

Johnathon felt better. His eyes finally fried as he thought about all that had occurred these last few days. Jade. He still had to talk to her, to make it clear how sorry he was for taking her to bed so soon, and in such a way. And to make sure she knew that he wanted her in his bed again, and this time for the sheer pleasure and desire he felt for her. First though, a coffee.

Something sweet and dark, with plenty of milk on the side, and sweet. Perhaps some Indian Chai tea? the idea came with more merit with each passing moment. And breakfast. A fruit platter as well. Plantain, and pineapple, with pita and hummus, perhaps a small touch of olive oil, and cherry tomatoes. Yes that would be wonderful. A meal to contemplate by then a talk with jade before he met with Pearl. After all he'd need to deal with his newest before his eldest slave. Since he could not call Aria such again.

"Donovan." Johnathon sent the call directly to the old man's cell. "I believe I would like a lunch. Pita Thin and well baked with hummus, non garlic, and a drizzle of olive oil. Plantain, and Banana, a fruit platter something with melon and pineapple, and also tomatoes. Finally A chai tea, With no fat, and a large container for milk." The order placed Johnathon lay back waiting for it to be fulfilled.

Edward fell back into his musing. The thoughts racing through his head were many, and he needed to sort them out before he proceeded further. This was trickier than any of his business dealings. The variables were too many, and each had too many options to count.

But it all came back to why? Why did Johnathon allow them this?

He had been working on something akin to autopilot by the time he sat down. He recognized the chair for what its function was. He felt Aria resting against his legs, then her hand against the side of his face.

"Edward...tell me what you're thinking right now."

He closed his eyes, enjoying the feel of his greatest love's touch. And with that, came the pain he felt when he let her go, afraid of what she would think of him and his desires. Desires he found out later that she supported and shared. Tears that he never allowed himself to shed rolled down his cheeks, some of them dampening Aria's hands.

"I'm trying to think of why he has done this. Allowed us this time together. I can't see how I can in all honesty do anything. No matter what I do, I will be slighting his honour, and causing him further pain. All because I could not maintain the control I should have. That I should have honoured my oldest friend, a man I think of as a brother, and not..."

Edward took a deep breath. He looked down at Aria's emerald coloured eyes. He felt the pain again, this time for what he should have done years ago. The pain of not saying good bye properly.

"This is the last time that we will every be alone together. Johnathon will never permit us to be alone together again. Ever." He took a deep breath. "But he is willing to share you with me... while he is present."

Aria reabsorbed this. She had heard it said by Jonathon just minutes before and now hearing it again from Edward it did sound so...final. Her eyes shone with fresh tears and she nodded, "...I understand this. Edward...we've hurt him before. I can see why he makes these conditions. I can also see that it would be good for us to enjoy the generosity he does bestow upon us. I need this opportunity to say farewell to the boyfriend I never really said goodbye to, Edward. Where that takes us from that point...well...afterward it becomes a topic for the three of us to discuss and not just we two because I do belong to Jonathon. I want you in this moment...to enjoy it, Edward. Enjoy the gift of my love for you. Can you do that?"

"I need this opportunity to say farewell to the boyfriend I never really said goodbye to, Edward."

He looked down at the floor. He was not a Master of submissive women. Not a businessman worth billions. He was a man in love, in pain and confused. He turned to look at Aria through pools of water.

"Do you?" He snorted softly. "A man who loved you but didn't trust you. A man that let the best thing that had happened to him go. A man that with one simple decision caused pain to two people he loves more than anyone else?" He shook his head. "No. I don't deserve this. I should have been more focused on those in my own household. Even more so after..."

Fresh pain lanced his soul, standing in the morgue, looking down on the face of one of his women, identifying her corpse. One of his that didn't escape the smoke in time. The reason he released all of his other women, and was invited to live on the Island. To start again.

"I want you in this moment...to enjoy it, Edward. Enjoy the gift of my love for you. Can you do that?"

"Nothing would please me more, Aria. I would like to say good bye to you in a way that you deserve. But...

"I'm sorry, Mary Alice. I am so sorry for not trusting you with how I felt, what I desired. For not letting you know clearer how important you were to me. Most of all, I am sorry for leaving you the way I did.

"But... but I am so happy that you found yourself one who loves you, and trusts you more than I did. I couldn't wish for any one better to take up the treasure I couldn't have anymore."

Mary Alice, not Aria, rose onto her knees and took Edward's face into both of her hands, staring into his eyes with her own as they remained forehead to forehead for a long moment, tears trailing down her cheeks as well. She felt the pain in his heart as well as if it were her own, she felt the sincerity of his words, the regret, the sorrow...She had never wanted him more than in this very moment.

Her kiss was a searing hot seal of pent up desires and emotion, it held in it every thought, every feeling, every notion she could never express to him in his long absence from her life, everything she'd ever wanted to show him was in the passion of this one gesture now, her tongue dancing with his in a way that was beyond sexual gratification or even symbolic of love, but more of an intertwining of two souls who'd been painfully separated after a long union and were now just only beginning to heal the scars of that parting, coming together once more.

Cat made her way back to the room she shared with Pearle. So much had happened and so much was still to take place. She sat on the bed where Aria had sat just the night before. She hugged the pillow that had nursed her head.

There she just sat and breathed in her sent. Never had she been so obsessed with anyone as she was with Aria. She loved her and wanted her to know she did.

Laying down she let sleep claim her as she dreamed of the woman she loved.

OOC I will be taking exams now until after 13th July. Please feel free to move Cat on if you have to.

Angel was sitting deep in thought having finished her swim, when she heard the splash as Celeste jumped into the water. Smiling and kicking her feet in the water to get her attention, she called, “Celeste over here!”

Celeste moved to join her and angel suggested they raid the kitchen and go on a picnic together. Celeste readily agreed and after she had swam a few laps they went hand in hand back to the house where they changed, then collected cheeses bread, water and a selection of fruits. Finding a secluded cove down by the beach they spread their loot on a huge blanket which they had also commandeered. Celeste and angel were like two teenagers as thy laughed and giggled as they occasionally fed each other grapes and innocent kisses.

Angel was feeling more relaxed this was just what she needed.. when suddenly out of the blue she felt something tugging at her soul. It felt so real, so visceral, she could feel the pull as suddenly something was torn from within her leaving an empty baron place.

“He’s gone she creened in terror clutching her heart …gone”

Her connection to her Master gone just like that ..gone......she turned chalk white and reached out for her sister.

Celeste grabbed her sister and held her. Rocking her in her arms, she ran her hand down her back. "Shhhh Angel, it will be okay. Everything will be okay. I promise." She continued to rock her and rub her back. She leaned down and kissed her luscious lips. She gently laid back on the blanket with Angel in her arms. As soon as she felt Angel calm alittle bit, she said, "Angel, whats wrong?"

Lying cradle in Celestes loving embrace her breathing started to slow.

"Angel, whats wrong?"

How could she fully explain a feeling? Edward had left her of that she had no doubt… He belonged to another, if in fact He had ever been really hers. Prehaps it was an illusion the product of a younger angel's need to belong if only for a moment. It was as if the tangled web of fate had twisted once again leaving her on the outside looking in.

She attempted to put the thoughts into words.

“Celeste when I arrived here it was like I was moving towards my destiny, I recognized Master Edward the moment I laid eyes on Him. I felt the connection on a physical level and when He forced me to become an I and made love to me last night He made me cross the barrier in my mind. I became His on every level possible we forged bond…or rather I forged a bond.

When I was dismissed because I pulled his hair ..I felt like I had came crashing down from a great height, but still the bond was there. Just a second ago it disappeared, poof! it was gone….I could feel it being ripped out of me. I ..I cant explain…..He’s gone… gone I am alone….”

Starting to sob again she sat up her eyes frantically searching the horizon.

“What am I too do? How can I stay..I cannot make love to someone who belongs to another..Oh Celeste I know I am not making sense, I can see it in your eyes ..you have to believe me I know this.”

Celeste pulled her once more into the circle or her arms reigning small kissed over the top of her head while gently stroking her back.

Angel was soothed and began thinking; the only way she would survive on the island would be to become as she was when she arrived no longer an I. The angel of before was property existing
to serve and really it mattered little who bedded her as all were the same. She needed to protect the damaged hole where her heart had once resided.....

Celeste continued to rub her back. She stood up and moved Angel to the side. "Hold on Angel." She packed up the picnic and grabbed Angel's hand. "Come on, let's go back to my room." They walked back to the house and entered through the kitchen. Celeste left their picnic leftovers on the kitchen counter and took Angel upstairs. Then went to Celeste's room and shut the door. She took Angel to the bed and laid down beside her.
