Domdar Compilation Thread

Really?? I always thought of him as sub.

I could top him in a heartbeat.

LOL, not so sure about that. Though I said earlier in the thread I could see him being a strong male sub, it would be of his choosing, not being unexpectedly overpowered in any way I'm thinking, and only by the rarest and most experienced Domme. As a Dom, I think his power and exceptional abilities would lie in the way he could use his mind to help gain the submission of the one he wanted to possess, and the way he could apply extreme patience in any situation to help the submissive achieve their and his goals.

Hmmmm, and how could I forget these 2 as dominant type divine...

Brendan Cole...dancer with a strong perfectionist streak I love, style I love, and not backward in saying what is on his mind and demanding 110% of those whose actions also influence him and his...

and then there is Ms Whiplash herself, Erin Boag...another hard taskmaster or mistress in this case...

I think you also have to consider Elvis as a micromanagement Dom...given he used to choose and buy all Priscilla's clothes, dictate what she wore every day and for every occasion, chose and instructed how her make-up was to be worn at all times, chose and ordered her hair colours and styles throughout their relationship, chose what she was to eat, and basically groomed her to be the woman he wanted her to be plus expected her to be available at all times and sit and wait for him until he had time to give her some attention, no? Of course we probably shouldn't mention her age when he moved her into Graceland and his bedroom. :(

Nah, just OCD. Look at his menu.

OCD or not that is so....awesome....I don't know about Dom quotient but the camp is priceless.

I have very few theories. I've beaten enough commanding asses in relatively high places and known enough who liked the opposite from the same quarters that I don't even try and guess anymore.

I just can't get past Walken doing "the continental"

Or Hugh Laurie as Bertie Wooster.

(Although if anyone cares what I want in a sub, I want want want Stephen Fry as Jeeves)

I would take on a real-life Jeeves in a heartbeat. The wisdom, cleverness, and dry sense of humor would be worth any price.

Just a bit of curiosity after looking through this thread: is this about perceived domliness or perceived "hawtness" - it's a little hard to tell from my perspective.
My apologies for not addressing your question, though clearly anyone is open to giving an opinion on the topic. I somehow missed it, perhaps I was distracted, though I can't imagine why.

Oh yes Yule's nipple..........excuse me a min or two please...............

Back :)

Now, what was the question again. Ohhh : rereads : one momento please, scusey.......

Back :)

To be honest it's just a game of projection based on random characteristics, though I suspect much of it has also to do with specific memories. I don't think 'hawtness' is integral to 'domliness' . A point of commonality that the majority posted on this thread are high profile, which is usually to some degree influenced by not only charisma but marketability of appearance. In fact the more charisma the less need for 'superficial hawtness' from my perspective. I know where my value of dominant friends reside and that kind of hawtness is not high on the scale of potential attributes. There are so many other more significant characteristics that won't land a man on the cover of GQ that are of import. Unique domdar hawtness rarely involves a mid drift sixpack and purdy lips. Great nipples and hands remain the exception. It's the rule : nods with enthusiasm :

All in all the thread premise to me is just a delightful little mischief.

I hope that resolves your question Mr Midwestyankee, at least from my perspective :rose:

Thanks, Rebecca, as always your logic and humor blend to make a wonderful mousse of a reply.

As someone whose domliness could never be determined by outward appearance, it occurred to me that I might not be met by as much happy posting were I to start a thread the subject of which was photos of well-known women perceived to be submissive.

Hmmmn yes reminds me of the great beefcake rebellion of 2006. Evil Geoff Sir lead the charge starting about post No. # 1110. I would be fine with it, in fact I was waaaaaay back when. As a regular contributor to the art threads, which by default tend to largely represent woman perceived as submissive, I honestly don't feel any real angst in exploring the domdar styling eye candy. It's all intended in good fun and I know you understand that. Also gives a more casual focus for bonding amongst the woman of the board in a joyous sense as they share, explore and debate. That's not to say the thread is in any manner restrictive to male contributions from either side of the equation.

Sheesh, I would hope so. If I had to get by on looks I'd be doomed =P

Did anyone mention a young Marlon Brando? Like I said in some other thread, when I grow up, I want to be Sky Masterson from "Guys and Dolls".

Okay this is strange or should I suggest that perhaps I am. I had a browse in Google images at Marlon to post one to compliment your post Homburg and zilch on my domdar. He has pretty eyelashes though :)

Then I scanned specifics, oops think I just changed my mind .....

*shrug* I'm not a sub, and have jack for Domdar. I'm just talking about that character. I dig that movie, and dig that character =) The specific scene in the Mission was just awesome, and the sort of verbal dance that I really get into.

Personally, I don't identify with specifically Dominant individuals or characters. I tend to identify with fictive poets and passionate madmen (with my favourite being the Mad Spaniard himself, Don Quixote de La Mancha)

Major Domdar Alert Rebecca Production

Dominants we might like to see lap-dancing link http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m71/worldrebecca/Siren_animated.gif

Not for us of course !

Of their own desire to get on down, so to speak. One might go as far as respecting that dancing for your submissive is a nice cardiovascular workout.

: takes pulse :

Oh my : shame :

I for one would avert my eyes, that is of course, unless I was directed to do otherwise.

Then, and only then, would I permit myself to savour the moment .

I live to serve

Fellow Literonians, I did try and include all contributions to this thread, some simply didn't work . There will be a 2nd version I'll upload that has a more formal theme in a few days. My production skills are rusty and this one served to reacquaint myself with the software.

I sincerely hope you enjoy :rose:

Marvelous Marvelous Marvelous! That's was a wonderful treat. I look forward to the next one eagerly! :p :D
