Dolcett

I would reccomend Eros comics, if you are looking to purchace some.

Dolcett has carved (pardon the pun) a niche for himself in a very crowded genre. I don't find any erotic attachment to death. On technical merit, he has ability. His subject matter isn't for me, but then again that goes for a lot of artists who are more main stream. If you find Dolcett fasscinating have you seen any of Fumontti's stuff? The subject matter is usually in a similar vein, but the style is a lot different.

Thanks for the tip, Colleen.:rose:

I'm a bit of a fan of his/her work. Anyone else? . . . He is sort of like the Caligula of comics.
I didn't recognize his/her/its name, but once seen, who could forget the work.

Not the Cannibal Barbeque, but there is artwork which may be by the same artist that I have been trying to use as a story starter.

If I can manage to keep it from becoming too vile :(

Thanks bunches for posting the site! (I was far too nervous to do so myself.) ;) Please keep us (me) updated on the story status.

Alright, I'm going to look up that word, and if I don't like the definition I'll write my next post in red crayon.

Edited a few minutes later to include:

Enigmant

Response from Miriam-Webster website
The word you've entered isn't in the dictionary.
So, maybe their database is a little light?

Vin, sometimes a dictionary or thesaurus is irrelevant to a writer. Helene's phrase was wit.

It's not fair to disect my musings. They often can not be translated as I speak in puns and riddles most of the time. If websters has not invented a word that will jive with my current mindset, I will occasionally make one up that will. (Especially if it has an undertone of irony.)

At least Perdita understands me.:(

I get it. It's sort of like a "How does Kevin Costner keep getting work?" situation.

I didn't like the movie Calligula because of all the graphic violence and sadism...I DID enjoy the production values, detail, acting (for the most part) and sex. I suppose to tell a graphic story of Calligula the sadistic side is KEY. no thanks.

Interestingly the Dolcett comics seem to be just extreme taboo Fantasy...all the women are beautiful...seem to experience little pain...maybe dicomfort. They are not Charred when roasted..only sweat. The "victims" are also willing participants.

All of that makes his work a BIT more palatable...(heeheee).
I can IMAGINE...that a woman would be tender and tasty...but have absolutely NO interest in sampling. I can appreciate them on a certain level...but no intention of seeking out that sort of "erotica".

Has anyone seen the movie "A Boy and His Dog" (80's?), with Don Johnson? Don't read next line if you like surprises and want to see it. In the end he (Don, the "boy") roasts and eats a woman, shares with his telekenetic dog. This was a case of survival...but stuck with me much like a Dolectt image.

Another scene which stuck with me is when the "boy" is hooked to a milking machine as he (each ejactulation) is in turn married off to a slew of brides of an underground community, in which the men are sterile. I have a bit of fascinating with "milking" (both men and women and their respective juices). THIS is not quite a scenario that I fantasize about...but contains some appeal.

Enjoyed your comments. Ever seen 'Ravenous?'

PS. I will be return in a few days days time, and apologize in advance for the delay.

No, I have not. (seen "Ravenous") don't expect I will.

delete my quote, please....now it's up 3 times in a row! DEFINATELY not that pithy.

I refuse to ignore creative genius. Apologies for my hungry fingers.

Right then. Toodles.

Well, I've checked out the Dolcett site linked here. While it is true that the women in the pictures are beautiful, this whole cannibalism thing just doesn't float my boat. I'm more of a bondage far as erotic art goes. Some of those Rebecca cartoons were cute, though.

There is one thing I found myself thinking of as I checked out some of the "willing barbecue" stories. Does anyone else remember the cow in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe which was bred to be consumed willingly?
