Delightful! Six days in London with nothing required of me but attending some workshops.... Stayed out of trouble, didn't go broke, made it home in one piece.

Going back after Christmas, bringing Mrs. Z. with me this time. We'd planned on returning next summer, but can't afford the in-season airfare. Oh, well, the weather in England isn't any worse than the weather here that time of year.

Yeti is now 16, in eyes oflaw he can leave home... but since me middle daughter also moved back in with me, with her daughter... yeti will be stayin here with them til he feels an urge to fly lol.

Your young 'un actually pulls in a fair wage at 16? Don't know too many who manage that -- mostly burger flippers for minimum wage, which won't pay the rent. Our own two stayed in the classroom through university, and one of them is going back for more....

Nope, but we have something called housing benefit here, it states that you don't have to pay more than a certain amount of ya wages for rent... his wage is just over what he'd get on state benefit ( dole ) so he gets full housin benefit... means he only has to worry bout electric, gas, food and clothes
