I am not saying I never want to have a serious relationship EVER again, just at the moment where my life is, it's really not a good time to get involved emotionally and things tend to get messy cos I dont fall for guys easily (too level headed).......so often feelings are not reciprocated and thats when it gets REALLY messy...just dont need the hastle!

Had a conversation with my mother and shes told me I may miss meeting someone special, well thats a risk I am prepared to take. She is so old fashioned, a woman of my age shouldnt be on her own

Well you see that thats the point my mother fails to understand. Being alone does not scare me, it is not a sign of inadequacy, it is a choice. I am independent financially, and emotionally pretty much too. Why fix something that aint broken??


If it happens then wonderful, if it doesn't then so be it. I believe in fate and to a certain extent, what is meant for you won't pass you by, so I live by that philosophy.
