Typical... I have surge protectors but it was way too damn close for my liking. I shut down in a major hurry.

I email things I want to keep to my gmail account lol... never seems to bloody work when I back up on disc

I dont have to do that I have an online system that comes with my BT account I save all my important files to that so if this happens again I have a backup. Although I also back up to disk and ALL the pc's in my house have surge protectors now too lol

I never thought of using my gmail account...another idea

Lol... I'm with freedom2surf... nice n cheap broadband

Gmail's handy,,, it's password pretected so I'm happy keeping all my pics n other stuff in there

I'm ummm modifying some silver chains I got today
