To get all technical on you, have you cleaned out your history and cookies lately ??
Also a defragmentation of the drive is a good idea if you've had the comp a while, things get moved around a lot during use
Go thru' your list of programs and remove any you've added and haven't used for the last 6 mths ( I find if you haven't used it by then, you ain't going to)
Run a program like ADAWARE ( it's got a free version )
If you can get your hands on it a2squared is a brilliant trojan finder prog, also clears out some othe malaware ( also free ) lol
yeah I know, I rarely pay for 'em if there's a free version somewhere

i usually clear the history and cookies daily, and i just defraged, im sure there are programs running in the background i could remove, i think i have adaware on my comp, some day ill figure all this shit out, but it'll be time to just but a new comp by then
