My son in law to be was one of those that wasn't taught at home, boy did he have a shock when he moved in with my eldest She soon made him learn !

LOL I bet he did...my mom died when I was in first grade...was my dad, sister and me with help from grandma for many years, so I was taught many domestic things by need LOL but the knowledge sure has come in handy

Male or female, far as I'm concerned when you get as tall as me( By the age of 10 or 11 since I'm lil') you muck in with the housework. I run a co-operative not a hotel

I watched my Gran run herself ragged taking care of people, then spend the rest of what lil' time left in the day feeling worn out, used to play hell with her for doing it even then. Still, I guess it's the way she was brought up ' it's a womans place'
