Doesn't This Make US Look Bad?

Hobbit, I realize that you rarely, if ever think in any sort of depth, but you just made my point about the media's treatment of two Presidents and dead members of our brave military...

Now, they do not care about the death toll any more that they cared about 100,000 dead until Bashir (or al Qaeda) crossed Obama's red line and they were then forced to carry his water for him throughout the course of this unmitigated disaster for the Office of the President and his Diplomatic Corps.
Well, Bush could have had a higher death count in Afghanistan if he actually tried to fight that war. You know, the war on terrorism rather than the war on the guy who threatened his dad.

...I am not here as John Kerry. I am here as one member of the group of 1,000 which is a small representation of a very much larger group of veterans in this country, and were it possible for all of them to sit at this table they would be here and have the same kind of testimony....

I would like to talk, representing all those veterans, and say that several months ago in Detroit, we had an investigation at which over 150 honorably discharged and many very highly decorated veterans testified to war crimes committed in Southeast Asia, not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command....

They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country...

...In our opinion, and from our experience, there is nothing in South Vietnam, nothing which could happen that realistically threatens the United States of America. And to attempt to justify the loss of one American life in Vietnam, Cambodia, or Laos by linking such loss to the preservation of freedom, which those misfits supposedly abuse, is to us the height of criminal hypocrisy, and it is that kind of hypocrisy which we feel has torn this country

*chuckle*

"The Syrian fiasco arose from two mutually contradictory desires. Barack Obama sincerely wanted Bashar Assad to stop killing his own people. Barack Obama also really was not willing to use force to ensure that Assad would stop killing his own people. At Harvard, those desires would not be antithetical. Elsewhere they are."
Victor Davis Hanson, NRO

tee hee

Classic False Dilemma presumes the only way to stop Assad was by use of force.

hehehehe

Make US look bad, or maybe and finally make US show our true colors.:rolleyes:

Three more.

Have you seen the numbers for the Afghans? Hundreds upon hundreds as the Taliban follows our retreat to victory.

Your President is doing what Bush failed to do, deliver vast swarths of the Middle East and Asia to Radical Islam because he hates the Tea Party more than he hates them.

Oh, did you see? Kenyan attacks - AMERICAN terrorists...

I guess Africa is on that list too, like when Bill Clinton surrendered to Somali warlords.

Or Egypt.

Libya.
