And yes, that's my diminutive, stumpy hand. Alas, my hands are meant for baking and gardening, not the piano.

First of all, brilliant into to this thread! :)

I've tried making large cookies, and I can't do it. I found an Ohio-shaped cookie cutter when I lived there, and I tried making Ohio-shaped cookies. They looked so distorted it was like Ohio on PCP.

A thank you.. and thank you.. *bows*

This recipe called for an ice cream scooper and made only 12 cookies. Spreading is always problematic (*rimshot*) when I make sugar cookies, but I finally found a recipe that doesn't spread. Should you ever want to attempt an Ohio again, let me know. Or you could just make Buckeyes. Mmm... diabetic bombs...

Firstly, and forgive my ignorance, but what is an Ohio cookie?

Secondly, if you are struggling in the pursuit of cookie perfection, I will selflessly volunteer to test your various experiments along the way. Just pop them in the mail for honest and impartial feedback and encouragement.

Size in most things absolutely matters. Food, definitely matters. Breasts and cock, not so much.

Cookies, ok let me reset here. Yes the cookies have to be bigger than bite size of course :)

At least a three bite cookie please :)

For me it works like this.... tray of cookies.... my eye will clock the largest and the chunkiest, the one with the most chips in it... then I will consider which one to have... then i take the largest.....

Then I was told of my diabetes type 2 and that process became a problem ;)

Now sorted to a degree.

This really throws off the sense of scale. Is your hand very very tiny, and those cookies are also very small? I think that might be what's going on here.

Also picking up from Mei5ter's February question - what's an Ohio cookie?
