Speaking at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa yesterday, Matt Gaetz had this to say.
Have you watched these pro-abortion, pro-murder rallies? The people are just disgusting. Why is it that the women with the least likelihood of getting pregnant are the ones most worried about having abortions?

Nobody wants to impregnate you if you look like a thumb. These people are odious from the inside out. They’re like five foot two, 350 pounds, and they’re like, “Give me my abortions or I’ll get up and march and protest.”

A few of them need to get up and march — they need to get up and march for like an hour a day. Swing those arms, get the blood pumpin’, maybe mix in a salad.
His attitude seems very familiar. Which poster could he be?

That's rich coming from the guy who is shaped like SpongeBob.
exactly. I'm not saying he's ugly out of spite, I seriously mean it.

on paper he looks ok: he is young, slim and with ok features,
but when you see him there's something off-putting about him, in a flabby-cottage cheese sort of way.
But he obviously sees himself as do-able.

No,he would not be interested in Lit,there are no under 18's allowed.
omg, I just saw that he was investigated for sleeping with 17 year-olds!
After Clarence Thomas's fondness for animal on women porn, and Kavanaugh .....

The best part is that he was reading from a speech. Somebody wrote that for him to read.

I can think of one poster, not more.

The others fall in two categories:
--the ones who pretend to support abortion (potentially contraception) bans out of a sense of party loyalty or losing face. Even tho, secretly they are just as appalled as Dems are
--the ones who guard their wallets. They think that an abortion or contraception ban will save them a few hundreds bucks a year.

But I'm still not 100% clear re Republicans' long-term goals.
The non-religious ones, I mean.

Chobham said that they're not doing to boost natality, because the US doesn't have a natality problem.
But if not that, what's their purpose? Sure they will save their electoral base a few bucks in the short term, but in the long runthey will cost them more.

Is that why you deleted your posts? Were they incriminating?
There's been a LOT of post scrubbing with new old-skin Shoelifts lately. All over the joint. 😬

what's the point of even posting when the ones who bother caring to reply to them have links that go back to dead ends?

gaetz proves himself a winner at raising pro abortion funds (update of earlier posts):

over $115K, lol
Julianna told Insider that as of Tuesday night, her organization Gen-Z for Change raised over $115,000 in abortion funds within a 24-hour period. The money will go towards the Gen-Z for Choice Abortion Fund, which splits donations raised among 50 different abortion funds in states with abortion bans.

"I am truly in awe of the amount of support that has come out of this," Julianna told Insider via email. "It is so extremely heartwarming to see the outpouring of support online and to know that the appalling attitude of Matt Gaetz has been turned into tangible support for abortion funds across the country."

I liked Matt Gaetz a lot better when he was a child actor playing Eddie Munster. He still looks the same, but he turned into a prick.

one has to wonder why those reps voted 'no'... personal preferences? purse strings holders a bit iffy on that age/trafficking thing? pure anti-dems hubris?
Rep. Matt Gaetz was one of 20 Republicans who voted "no" to reauthorizing an anti-human trafficking law on Wednesday.

The Frederick Douglass Trafficking Victims Prevention and Protection Reauthorization Act of 2022 was approved in the House for reauthorization with a massive majority of 401 votes to 20.
The act combats human trafficking — particularly sex trafficking — through severe penalties for perpetrators and support services for victims.

It first came into law as the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000, when it passed the House and Senate with almost no opposition, and has been reauthorized multiple times without significant challenge.

Gaetz just voted against relief funds for his home state of Florida from Ian's destruction.

Gaetz or whoever wrote his speech stole this from George Carlin. "Have you ever noticed that most of the women against abortion are women you wouldn't want to fuck anyway?"
