We had a wrestlotica thread for fighting with itles and evreything but we could never agree on fight formats. No one was able to take away my World title and my intergender title.

I'm not a troll. I've never flamed anyone here. Yet I posted as unregistered because I wanted to avoid flames. When I posted I wasn't in the frame of mine that I could handle a lot of criticism. And I didn't get any when I posted as unregistered. So maybe not all unreg's are trolls. Maybe some haven't developed the thick skin needed here.

Nope, no rule that says you have to register to post. Other than in "my book," as I keep saying. You all can play from your own rule book. That is the beauty of Lit.

There are cases when members post as unregistered for a reason. Bubblegum was one- but she said in her thread that she was a member who wanted to be anonymous for that one thread. Others have done it for really personal questions on the "How to" board. I have no problems with those, and I may even post to them if they are civil threads to begin with.

But a thread that starts with a face and is from an unregistered poster is just a troll post to me. From someone without the balls to give an opinion under a registered name.

You may not like my opinions, but you certainly always know they are MINE. I post as me. Period.

Disclaimer: I don't drink. Well, okay, i drink water and milk and all that stuff but i very rarely drink anything at all alcoholic. I think the Unreg in this thread (and this thread, that one post only) was perfectly polite and made lots of sense. (Though, quite frankly, there's never ever gonna be fighting kept to one Come Here For Fights thread. That's just not the way it's done, Unreg - and everyone here is way way way too ornery, particular, individualistic, and reactionary to submit to such a preposterous scheme anyway, no matter how logical and kind-seeming.)

Okay.... the only opinion I have is that I can see where Cheyenne is coming from. It doesn't necessarily mean that if I see an unregistered person it screams to me troll! but then again I have never been trolled here.

I can see why some people would go unregistered to start a How To... thread but I can't see the reason for doing it just to attack a person. It doesn't mean that everyone that is unregistered is doing it to attack someone I just mean what is the point of it. What is it going to accomplish, except to piss people off.

The worst mistake a body can make is to immediately assume. Makes the proverbial ass. This unreg does not bark like a troll, act like a troll, or have fleas like a troll. So it's not a troll. It also has a very valid point.

However, since I am the fighter 'round these parts. I like fighting. I could gives a damn if people don't like me because what I say or don't say. I feel no need to curb myself or try to be something I not for people to like me because they won't anyway. People don't like fakes.

Don't you think it's just a wee bit naive to even ask this many intelligent, well read, ornery, stubborn, creative and opinionated people to get along? and that doesn't even take into account the blindingly idiotic people who insist on posting here as well.

NO, we can't get along all the time. Some of us can't even get along a little bit of the time. Many of us simply don't play well with others. So, if you want to post here, I'd suggest getting over it.

And no, we can't keep the fighting to one thread anymore than we can keep the flirting to one thread, it's way too random and enjoyable to be confined.

All I know is that if you take a different tone than everyone else, make up a funny iconoclastic name (my name is Mark), and post a picture of Che as your av, people don't really want to be your imaginary computer friend. But who really cares?

All I hope to do is make people work for their opinions not just pat each other on the back and play pretend. I wish I could have another av for just the story and author discussions because I like my nickname but some people might get confused and think I didn't like their story about the night they gangbanged their dad because it didn't have enough revolutionary zeal.
