Hey ya'll

Has anyone used Epil-Stop? If so, does it work?

We both would liek to use it. Can you use anywhere?

Doesn't work on me. And I got the spray -- what a dumb idea! I can't believe it didnt' occur to me that you shouldn't spray things that dissolve hair ... I didn't feel quite so bad as I did after two months of that worthless Jergen's lotion that was supposed to make me shave less. Jergen's must be laughing all the way to the bank on that one.

Was tempted

I've seen it and thought...Gee that would be great for those "hard to shave" areas. Then I thought it would be good for my face, so I don't have to shave around my beard so often

Then I thought....will it really work? So Any experience with it would be appreciated.

Don't get it!!!

I bought it and thought that it was going to work the same way it does on TV. It doesn't. It came with a travel size that I let my friend use. She couldn't get it to work either. And the smell is awful!!

Don't bother with it.

Not for me.

It burned the crap out of me.

I did the patch test, that was fine. The hair was gone,no burn,I loved it. So the next day I put that nasty smelling stuff all over my legs.

Gawd the pain was awful.

But this was just my experience.

Yeah it didnt work for me either...But the Jergen lotion I just bought...you sure it doesnt work? Cause I had a friend who told me it worked on her?!!?

Icky Icky Icky! A friend of mine used it on her Boyfriends back... in two days he looked liek he was covered in dirt from all the stubble and it hurt both him and her! And it stank to the high heavens!

I am not sure that one more "Don't buy it, it isn't worth it!" will work but what the hell, here is my 2 cents. Don't buy that crap. It burns, and it will give you a serious rash if you have sensitive skin. I used it and it was incredibly painful. Luckily I wasn't shaving my nether regions yets so I didn't use it there but my legs and arm pits were bad enough. I seriously believe that is why I have sensitive areas now that I didn't have before. "Just say no to Epil-stop."

Jergens lotion

I've used the Jergens lotion since the beginning of last summer and I LOVE IT. It definitely has made my leg hair grow in slower. I'm not so sure about the softer thing.

It used to be that if I shaved my legs in the morning, I could feel a little bit of stubble that night, but now it's not until the next day that I feel any stubble at all. LOVE IT! It wouldhave to be one of the best new products I have tried in a while.

I considered Epil-stop

Until I read this thread!

I've had rotten experiences with depillatories and waxes and all that junk. The burning, mess and stink is awful. I've just about given up on finding a comfortable product for hair removal.

Do any of you know of any reliable ones that work and don't hurt like hell?

The "official" depilitoryof Literotica is Magic Shave (tm). It's formulatd and marketed to Black men to deal with the problem many of them have with sensitive skin, shaving bumps, ingrown hair, etc.

I understand that the powder form stinks like rotten eggs, but the lotion form is both milder and less odiferous. Magic can be found at most chain department and drugstores -- Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart, Target, etc -- in the ethnic hair care or "shaving needs" sections.

Do the patch test first!

Magic isn't for everyone, although it does seem to work for most people -- even those who have "sensitive skin." As long as your skin isn't super sensitive Magic should work.

Well the best might be

Well route..I have not come across anything that really has no side effect. I found out about Magic from this website..and well it is the best form of depillatories I have come across. But the best thing that I have done is waxing. It is painful at time but its the best if you want the hair to grow back slow and softer.

Sounds like Rowdygirl had good luck wth the Jergens lotion, but my best friend and I both bought a bottle and it didn't work for us. You could get lucky and be like Rowdygirl, so I'd say if you already bought it, go ahead and try it and see how it goes.

Epil=Stop works just fine!

I have used it succesfully to remove all the hair around my cock and balls. Did a great job! You do have to follow the instructions EXACTLY or it will either not work ( if you leave it on too short) or it will burn your skin (if you leave it on too long). But I have found not other way to get the hair off my balls. I am surely not going to shave the balls with all that wrinkled skin around them. And the Epil-Stop did not cause in-grown hairs.

Am I the only one who had success? Surely not.........

Epil Stop didnt work for me. I tried it several times. And also varied the length of time I used it. From the maximum to the shortest amount of time it recomended. I would say dont waste your money. And everyone I know that has tried it, it didnt work for them. I havent tried the Jergens stuff yet.
