My habit is underwear, left sock, right sock, pants, shirt, left shoe, right shoe, scarf, jacket, hat, backpack. With no reason to change, I'll probably do it the same way 'till I the day I die.

This reminds me of an All in the Family episode. Mike put on a sock, then a shoe, sock and shoe. Archie got all pissed off because he was 'doing it wrong'.

Socks, then shoes for me. Most of the time. Not always.

I just press a button, and I'm showered, and dressed all at once. HELL, I don't know, it's nothing special, I just do it without thinking about it.

I do however tie my shoes last, if they are tennis shoes.

*sigh* If it were up to me, I would go around barefoot all the time. As soon as I walk in the house, the first things to come off are my shoes and socks. However, when I am forced to put them on, I put my left sock on and my right sock after that. Then, I move on to my shoes... left before right.

Although I have a shoe fetish (oh yes, I DO ) I much prefer walking around barefoot. As soon as I get home I get rid of any protective and fashionable footwear (including socks) and wiggle my toes into freedom.

When I put my socks/shoes on it goes.... open sock drawer, grab one sock, grab another one (usually a green and a red one, or a black and white one), whack on the shoes, pour coffee down my throat with a funnel, put my top on, put the jacket on, look for my backpack and leave.

Since I wear boots 95% of the time it does not matter what color my socks are .... so I just wash them all and pull 2 out of the drawer. I have been known to wear a solid color on one foot and a striped one on the other.
