Does age not matter to anyone else?

I'm quite a young guy and have only recently started having sex on a regular basis and already i have been with guys from 18 to as old as 58.

anyone else here not care about age? i must add that the 58 yr old was the best i have had.

My old home tutor aroused me when I was 13, and I think he was late 40s..

I'd say age can matter, but it doesn't necessarily have to. The oldest woman I ever dated was more than two decades my elder, and the age gap was one reason we eventually split. Physically though, age doesn't matter in my opinion, just so long as you're attracted to the other person.

It's actually more common for there to be a big age difference in same-sex couples than opposite-sex couples.

When I was younger I tended to be with older guys. I think it was a combo of them being more mature as well as they seemed to take more of an interest in me. In hindsight that latter part may be partially due to the fact that they have more experience in the seduction game.

My partner actually is my age. He tended towards younger before me -- so his past was the opposite of my past. I think if I were ever single again, age wouldn't matter, but I probably wouldn't have much in common with someone too young. While I would have loved to have been a parent, I wouldn't want someone who needed a dad to also be a lover. I cannot comprehend being both protective of another younger person AND getting my rocks off. The two emotions are just too opposite in my head.

The only time the age difference bothers me is when there are guys middle aged or older who have a youth fettish. Some of them are so bad that they won't even say hello to you (with no sexual connotations) unless you are younger. They tend to come across as rude. The funniest part about them is many of them seem to think they are having a second childhood. Some even think they can keep up with a much younger person. I go to the gym quite often and I like bike, and like to jog with my dog. However, if I ever claim to be on par with a 20 year old, then someone needs to send me to a shrink. Even with the best of genes the body does change with age whether we like it or not.

Age doesn´t matter to me at all. It is maturity that matters. Since I did once fall in love with a woman who was younger than me. But that because she was mature, and sweet But age isn´t a factor in my mind. The first person whom I fell in love with here, could be my mother in age. But it wasn´t an edipo complex I had, I fell for her. Because of her maturity, and her kindness and warmth, and all that. And she still has a special spot in my heart. But that is another story, so does age matter ? no not to me, but maturity does.

All my life I've prefered mature lovers (male and female) for the sake of learning how to obtain and provide the greatest pleasure from sex. I am now sixty and still prefer to be with someone who knows what he or she is doing because I get to involved to be a good teacher.

Personally speaking: for sex, age is of no consequence to me (butt experience definately is). For a relationship, age matters (we must relate on multiple levels).

I don't see why it should matter if everyone's legal and you're both comfortable with it. I have fantasies about older guys and women. I would consider an older woman as long as, y'know, she wasn't all wrinkly and stuff. Forty, forty five... no problem.

Most are guys in this thread, but let me give a woman's perspective. I am mid-40s but when i am with another woman, I do prefer someone younger, in their 20s, mind you I like to play with young guys of that age too. I was seduced by an older woman when I was 18 so maybe it's connected , but I do love a fresh young thing who wants to experience a mature woman.

Age doesn't really matter to me either. With men I tend to stick to guys around my own age, although when I was young (18-24) I had sex with many older men including a brief fling with a 60 year old gay male who taught me so much when I was only 19.

After my divorce, I have to admit to a desire for younger women and have had sex with an 18 year old and several others in their early 20's. While I can't imagine ever again being in a long term relationship with a woman, I have recently been involved with a beautiful 50 year-old woman who shares most of my sexual desires.

I still can't believe I was monogamous for almost 20 years.
