Do your cats do this?

bugs? Sure...

and styrofoam peanuts, packing tape, feathers...

to my cats, if it moves=it's alive=it's food

oh, yea.... and Frankie Loves to play with dogs.... my neighbors dogs won't come over anymore, he doesn't mean to, but, i think he scared the hell out of them...

Call Me *Warped*....

But I always did kind of envy dogs cuz they could lick their own balls.....<grin>
MrB

maybe only *slightly* warped.....

Got 4 cats, and 2 of them catch and eat any thing that moves, treacle however couldn't catch a cold, and Minnie is a pirate she waits until one of the others brings something in and then she nicks it.
My 2 hunters bring home anything from mice and voles too rabbits and woodpigeons.(horrible).
hey brat cat is your lab related to mine, mines 99% labradour and 1% demoned from hell, he's that bad that I have to mussel him when I take him out he's convinced that everyone and every thing is out to get me, so he's gonna get them first.

My cat Joe is the carnivore in the house. She catches and eats any insect that flies within range, often she'll destroy the house while doing it. She brings in baby birds, gophers, and squirrels when she can. Since we had her de-clawed the number of small animals in the kitchen has seriously dropped. She can't climb trees anymore. She can. however, still whoop the living crap out of any other cat that comes in the yard, which she will not leave. She never did, even when she had claws.

My other cat, Godzilla, is scared to death of bugs and will hide until Joe eats them. He's a pussy. He still has his claws, though I'm sure my mother-in-law will take care of those when he moves in with her. She won't have an un-declawed cat in the house. We would have left them in. He's a pussy!

My cat not only brought "gifts" in from outdoors, he would promptly bring them over to me and lay them at my feet, look at me, and then leave...like I was suppose to batter and fry them for him, then serve it on a plate. Typical male? I think so...heh

My Maggie T is not afraid of any dogs, probably cuz she's been around the mutt since she was kitten. But she scares ME with her "fuck you dog" attitude. Like I said, my neighbours' Rottie is 140 lbs and she's the only cat he ever came in contact with besides the ravine cats and feral cats.
I thought for sure he would grab her after she Tysoned his ass but he cried!!

Dazey LOVES cats. LOVES them. I had two cats when I brought her home and the female terrorized her but also used to clean her and groom her like she was her own kitty. So the "Dazed" one, consequently licks her paw and washes her face like a cat. IF she sees a kitten, she almost does backflips til you let her see it so she can lick it and play with it.

The neighbours were a little freaky at first 'bout a Dobe that really wanted at their cats, but now, they just laugh and shake their heads.

I have weird pets..they always start out normal but...:)

No, he was even worse when I first got my hands on him. He's improved 98%. Scary, huh? LOL :)

I will get you for that one..:)

For the most part my cats dont eat bugs... One cat will chew the corner of anything it can sink its teeth into, as well as things it shouldn't, ie paper, notebooks, sheet metal, etc. Another cat eats the plants in our frontroom window, and knocks over roses whenever I bring them home. And finally theres 'baby', otherwise refered too as Bitch cause she acts more like a female dog then a cat, she if fearless... We found her as a stray one year right around christmas, she fears nothing. I'm pretty sure she would eat bugs, small animals, anything she could sink her teeth into, but we keep her locked up inside.. No inside/outside cats here.

What I hate is when a bug is flying around a lamp shade and the fool cat attacks and knocks over the lamp and the bug gets away. But the darn cats won't kill an ant, I hate ants.

bad bugs

so we have a little siamese and she's been looking kinda poorly lately. she's usually very hyper and upbeat. i'm afraid she's eaten some bugs from our yard that's recently been treated with diazanon. it's really got me upset.

Poor little kitty. You should take her to the vet. I hope she gets better.

The moth eater is now draped across my lap. Her favorite spot. They used to be indoor-outdoor cats, but once we moved, it was no longer safe.

The male cat has brought home a few mice and a couple of birds. Which we promptly took away from him. I really didn't want to have to search for the carcass or clean up the mess if he ate them in the house. What I don't see, I don't know about.

And for some reason, she's the only one who hunts bugs. He doesn't give a shit! LOL

Well...this thread sure has some unique timing..just today I allowed my cats outside for a little while..all 4 cats..and the new kitten...not 2 minutes of being outside and my new kitten went and killed a grass snake and brought it to me,his momma and daddy I allready knew were very efficent hunters.{Momma is a Bengal}{Daddy is a Somali}..but this kitten is barely a month old.If you want to know what I named this kitten...ask Myst.

No I do not take them to the vet. If you try and pick most of them up, you will draw back a bloody mess. Does the feral mean anything to you city dwellers. Jeez!

Eat bugs, that is. It's just gross! One of my cats just got done eating a moth. And then she comes up to me wanting attention. All I can think about is moth bits in her mouth! Ewww! LOL Gross little thing. And the other one watches her like it's some kind of spectator sport.

I think most cats eat bugs. Also, cats are very sadistic. In our house, we have seven cats, and when one of them catches a bug, three or four of them will take turns playing with it and batting it around until it's dead. I'm not sure what determines which lucky cat gets to eat the bug when it's dead and no fun to play with any more.

My mate picked up a bumper sticker with a cat face picture on it that says "My Child Eats Bugs". I guess it's common enough behaviour that somebody is making money selling bumper stickers about it.

I have two cats, and neither one of them is a bug-eater. The female is a hunter, though! She left a small rabbit in the middle of the kitchen floor one night. Almost stepped on the thing! The male? He's too cute and cuddly to be much of a threat to anything.

I did have a cat that was afraid of bugs! A big 15-pound black tomcat, he beat the crap out of every other cat that happened along... as well as the occasional dog. But throw a few bugs at him, and he completely freaked out! Especially ants... the really tiny black ants.

Yep. All the cats I've ever had liked to eat bugs. I'd rather them do that than to kill a mouse and present to me proudly like one of my cats used to do....
