Bug watchers
I use my cats' talents to alert me when a bug in my house has escaped the wrath of the exterminator. If I see one of my cats meowing loudly and staring intently at a spot on the wall/floor/ceiling, I KNOW there is a live bug there!
And yes, they do try to catch them and crunch them to death in their mouths. Ick.
