I turn the sig lines and avs off at work, and usually don't bother to turn them back on til the weekend.

Mine are turned off so I can pop in now and again even if the kids are watching cartoons behind me. I turned off the sig lines mainly cuz of those really long ones.

Yep, both.

While I sometimes miss the av's, the sig lines are not missed at all.

I usually have them turned off during the week and turn them back on over the weekend.

When I'm travelling and use a dial-up I turn AV's, sig lines and images off.

Makes everythng load much faster.

Hmmm... I haven't turned off either in the past except when someone with an obnoxious sig line (*lavycoughlavy*) as a joke drives me crazy. I don't always want to ignore the person, just their sig line.

I may turn them off now as an experiment and see if I miss them at all.
