I tend to agree with you. I think of old lady friends and I much as I shouldn't have them, I scanned some old "polaroids" of them naked or of us in action together and those memories from long ago still get to me. I sometimes wonder what they're doing and where they are 20 years later. I wonder what they look like now. I'm sure most are grandmothers several times over by now and may have completely forgotten about those days.
