sounds fabulous. And I love sex in the kitchen... but I have kids and they are usually up when I am cooking so that idea doesn't get delved into nearly often enough... *sigh* My kids are total nudists, but that would be too far to go even for me!
 
A Carolina BBQ Rub

INGREDIENTS:

* 2 tablespoons salt
* 2 tablespoons sugar
* 2 tablespoons brown sugar
* 2 tablespoons ground cumin
* 2 tablespoons chili powder
* 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
* 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
* 1/4 cup paprika

PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well; use as a dry rub on beef, chicken, lamb or pork.

Aztec Rub

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 cup cumin seeds crushed
* 1 cup olive oil
* 1/3 cup minced garlic
* 1/4 cup liquid smoke
* 3 tablespoon coarse salt
* 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients, except oil in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth. Slowly add oil with the motor running. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Makes about 2 cups.
 
Beef Rib Rub

This rub is a good combination of sweet and heat. You can adjust the heat by using mild or medium chili powder. Or if you really want to make it hot, add an extra tablespoon of cayenne.
INGREDIENTS:

* 1/4 cup paprika
* 1/4 cup mild or medium chili powder
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 1/4 cup ground black pepper
* 1 tablespoon cayenne
* 1 tablespoon garlic powder
* 1 tablespoon salt

PREPARATION:
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Apply about 2 tablespoons of rub to each side of the rack. Prepare smoker and add ribs.

This is a good, sweet brisket rub that you will need only one measuring cup for. Of course, you can adjust the heat by adding more or less of the chili powder.
INGREDIENTS:

* 1/3 cup brown sugar
* 1/3 cup salt (coarse salt works best)
* 1/3 cup paprika
* 1/3 cup chili powder (choose a hot or mild powder depending on your tastes)
* 1/3 cup ground black pepper

PREPARATION:
Mix ingredients and pack firmly around brisket 12-24 hours before smoking. Wrap in plastic wrap or place in a large plastic bag

Papaya Rub

This wet rub not only has the ability to add flavor, but because of the papayas natural tenderizing power, it helps to keep meats tender.
INGREDIENTS:

* 2 tablespoons sugar
* 2 tablespoons soy sauce
* 2 tablespoons black pepper
* 1 tablespoon salt (kosher)
* 1 papaya, peeled and seeded

PREPARATION:
Slice papaya into thin slices. Combine sugar, soy sauce, black pepper and salt. Mix until sugar and salt dissolve. Rub mixture over the surface of the meat you want to season. Place half the papaya slices on the bottom of a glass baking dish.

Mustard Rub

A classic wet mustard rub that really sticks to the meat. You can use different types of mustard in this recipe in order to change the flavor of the rub.
INGREDIENTS:

* 2 cups Dijon mustard
* 1 cup minced parsley
* 1/2 cup dried orange or lemon peel
* 1/2 cup rosemary leaves, crushed
* 1/4 cup black pepper

PREPARATION:
Mix together. Store in refrigerator in air tight container.
 
a great marinade for salmon or chicken:

1/4 C soy sauce
1/4 C spicy brown mustard
2 cloves minced garlic
grated ginger to taste
1/8 C peanut butter
2 tsp. sesame oil


blend well and pour over salmon. Let chill at least two hours, four is better.
Grill salmon, or broil for 15 minutes depending on size.

Serve with rice.

*note if using for chicken, I would suggest doing this the night before and letting it marinate overnight

I bet this would make great chicken wings.
 
best way to marinade, is in a vacuum sealed bag...pores open up on the meat that way and shortens the time by 75%
