I found a workaround, but it's nuisance. You just have to copy each link and paste it on your browser, and then the image will open just fine.

Perhaps it depends on the browser, but opening the image in a separate tab or a new private window seems to also work. It could be that this site is actually what's doing the blocking, not bdsmlr.
